Mind blowing liberal tax bill criticism

This tax bill, whatever else it is, is the most Establishment Republican Party piece of legislation imaginable. I guess the Establishment Republicans should kiss Trump's ass for falling in line with their establishment agenda.

In their effort to spread their narrative of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as handout to the wealthy, Dems and liberal media are criticizing the bill saying that the individual tax cuts expire while the corporate tax cuts are permanent. How unjust and unfair! Except that the only reason the individual tax cuts aren't permanent is because Dems refused to participate in the process. Without 60 votes in the Senate this was the best the GOP could get into the bill on their own.

SO..."Dems Ensure That Individual Tax Cuts Aren't Permanent" is a much more intellectually honest headline! Regardless of political differences (which I respect), Democrats should be insulted that their party assumes their utter and complete ignorance.

Have you ever, in your entire life, seen Democrats NOT lambast a tax cut? It is power slipping away in their minds.

Have you ever seen a GOP tax cut that didn't add billions to the deficit and debt?

Why didn't the GOP make the individual tax cuts permanent while the corporate tax cuts expire?

Because they couldn't by the rules since they do not have 60 votes and neither party will work with the other even for the good of the country. Party trumps country right now.

Reconciliation is a process, but what rule within the reconciliation process would prohibit reversing which cuts become permanent?

Nothing. But there is a rule in the reconciliation process that prohibits the individual tax cuts being made as permanent.

I know that the rules do not allow a bill to be passed that increases the deficit for more than a decade, which is why the tax cuts for us individuals have a time limit on them. It is all part of the stupid games they play to avoid having to actually work together like the system was actually designed.

Democrats are filthy lying scum so its no surprise. Lies are all they have left, that and the 50 year old 'tax cuts for the rich' talking point.

Trump supporters MUST take a gander over to CNN and MSNBC today if only for a few minutes. That's all it will take........these people, to a person on these panels, all look like they are sitting on a big bumpy cucumber this morning. The narratives trying to denigrate the president are priceless. Almost as much fun as it was on election night where you knew these people were miserable as fuck.

Merry Christmas!!!!:funnyface::funnyface::funnyface::funnyface::funnyface:
Yeah, I've been peeking in now and then. Not as good as their angst the morning after the election, but maybe the best since then.

"These companies promise to pass on some of their tax cut to workers" (Wells Fargo, Comcast and others promise to pass on tax cut savings to workers)

Crap...that was fast. CNN needs to reel in their Money division and figure out how to make this look bad quickly.
I won't be CNN, it will be the Dems. They will take a page from the GOP Obamacare playbook and will trot out poor and middle class families that get hurt by the GOP tax plan in time for the next election. It worked for the GOP and it will work for the Dems.
