So blacks care about firearm crimes in their neighborhoods do they? Look at the suggestions to curb it they support...

background checks.... does anyone explain to these people that almost all the CRIMINAL gang activity with firearms is with illegal firearms? Explain to me how you stop gangs from getting firearms with background checks when almost all the firearms they get are from illegal sources?

Report stolen firearms better? Exactly how does that STOP the criminal once they have the firearm? And what do they think will happen if every theft is reported? Most thefts already are reported EXCEPT when criminals steal from other criminals.

I reported two firearms stolen. Guess what after 4 years the report is shit canned the serial numbers are wiped and no one cares anymore.

Do not increase punishment for firearms crimes. Are these people stupid? You catch a criminal using a firearm you should lock him or her up for YEARS not the current system where they get out in months if ever in jail at all.

What they want is to coddle the criminal BECAUSE they are black and want to make excuses for them as you discover if you keep reading linked story.

And has NOTHING to do with preventing CRIMINALS from getting firearms. Criminals do not buy firearms from licensed dealers. They buy them from other criminals or they steal them.

How do you enforce universal background checks on the black market? Criminals can't be forced to violate their 5th amendment rights to register a gun, and without universal registration, enforcement is impossible. BTW I can't think of one law abiding gun owner I know who would willingly comply with registration either.

When has owning a gun become right wing stupidity, I thought it was an American right according to the Constitution just like gays have rights to marry even though its not in the Constitution, but should they get background checks for Aids before they wed and for raising their children. Lets not play that game. Aids is more deadlier than a gun but right wingers are not protesting about gays being Aids violent.
