More evidence why the GOP is a dying party

This is what happend when the gop went radical right and purged the moderates and liberals, who were the bright intellectuals of the party. Sort of like "Planet of the Apes".

Don't people realize that Tweets can be read by anyone?

Democrats said that Al Quaeda was on the run and decimated. A statement that they knew was untrue when they said it. Otherwise, why does this royal regime have a need for the power to murder American citizens who are members of a growing Al Quaeda and/or an affiliated group.

Of course when they get that power, any dissent won't be tolerated.

you guys are desperate, but the GOP will survive just fine. Obama is the savior of the GOP.

Yes, that really is the good news of his reelection. Once the results of his liberalism hits the fan, there we ( GOP and Libertarians ) will be to "rescue" the victims of his administration. It's a cyclical thing. Can't wait to take some Senate seats in `14, and hope the Supremes stay healthy and on the bench, for a longer period of time.

Unless of course the economy continues to improve and the majority of the electorate gives the administration credit for it.

In this case, 2016 would be a tough road to hoe for the GOP, especially given its demographics issues.

It is a cyclical thing, and most countries do oscillate between centre left and centre right governments for at least every third term.

The problem for the GOP is that they are not really centre right anymore; thus it is very hard for them to appeal to normal, centrist people.

They real need to dump some of the old monolithic policies like climate change denial, pretending slashing taxes is the best solution in any situation and basing foreign policy on xenophobic contempt for other cultures, and start again with a clean slate.

The Labour Party did this in the UK when Blair made them New Labour and they dumped the boring old unionst rhetoric from the 1970's - the GOP can do the same.
