More Leftist Lunacy- Sentencing of Tou Thao

Do you honestly expect me to substitute a jury conviction with a couple links?

Good grief.

You apparently don't read much, it wasn't a jury trial, he was convicted by a judge. One who most likely is coerced or bribed to see it the way the the political establishment wants him to see it. Or even already had a leftist bias to begin with, they've been installed all over.

So what if Mitchell hasn't been charged or convicted. ? Al Capone was not convicted many times too. Ho hum.
In regard to the Al Capone assertion that is way we now have RICO laws on the books.

BTW the comparison of Capone to the Floyd murder is apples and oranges.

In Post # 6. It's about time you read them.

Here's more >>

Robert M. Paule and Natalie R. Paule, attorneys for Thao, claimed in a motion filed on May 12 that Hennepin County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker changed his autopsy findings after he was threatened by the former DC chief medical examiner with a nasty column in The Washington Post, Law&Crime reported.

The Paules alleged in their motion that Baker received a call in the two days prior to the release of the autopsy report from former DC Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Roger Mitchell who reportedly told the Hennepin County ME he “should fire his public information officer” for releasing the initial statement that said the autopsy “revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.”

“After the phone conversation between Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Baker, Dr. Mitchell decided he was going to release an op-ed critical of Dr. Baker’s findings in the Washington Post,” the motion read. “Dr. Mitchell first called Dr. Baker to let him know.”

Thao’s attorney alleged that Mitchell told Baker he didn’t want to be the smartest person in the room and be wrong and told him that neck compression had to be in the diagnosis, Law&Crime reported.

The Paules also pointed out in the motion that Mitchell went after former Maryland Chief Medical Examiner David Fowler after he testified on behalf of the defense and sent a letter asking for an investigation of Fowler’s medical license, Law&Crime reported.

“Less than 24 hours after receiving the letter, the Maryland Attorney General’s Office announced that there should be a review of all in custody death reports produced by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner during Dr. Fowler’s tenu[r]e,” the motion read.

“There is no discovery disclosed condoning Dr. Mitchell’s intimidation and coercion,” the defense filing reads. “This includes no documentation that the State reported Dr. Mitchell to the pertinent medical board(s) for his behavior and potential criminal activity.”
Those are allegations by the lawyers for thao.

Floyd's death report was a SCAM perpetrated by former Washington, D.C., medical examiner, Dr. Roger Mitchell, who coerced the current medical examiner, Dr. Andrew Baker into including "neck compression" as part of Floyd's cause of death.

Dr. Andrew Baker, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, was "directly and indirectly coerced by the State and its agents." Baker performed an autopsy on Floyd on May 25, 2020, and told prosecutors the next day that he found "no physical evidence suggesting that Mr. Floyd died of asphyxiation,"

Lawyers representing former Minneapolis police officer Tou Thao argued in a court filing over a year ago, that the medical examiner who performed the autopsy on George Floyd was "coerced" by a prominent doctor in Washington, D.C., into altering its findings – and that prosecutors were aware.

The filing accused Mitchell who threatened to write a damaging op-ed in the Washington Post against the medical examiner, of later targeting the key medical witness called by the defense in the trial for Derek Chauvin, resulting in an investigation by the state of Maryland following his testimony. That has caused a "chilling effect," Thao's defense attorneys argue, making it difficult for the defense to find other medical experts to testify for fear of losing their licenses or damaging their reputation.

Mitchell also threatened another doctor, Dr David Fowler, who had said Floyd's death was "undetermined". He went so far as to round up 431 doctors to sign a letter he sent to top govt officials calling for immediate investigations at the state and federal level into Fowler's medical license, as well as a review into the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner during Fowler's 17-year tenure.

This is all old news, but it is only news now for liberals, who restrict themselves to leftist OMISSION media, which carefully screens out information like this, to keep them ignorant. They walk around FOR YEARS, not knowing what is going on and then come in here, and display that ignorance.

Dude, you're asserting the opinion of the lawyers for a convict.

You're not presenting facts.

So you are 88 posts into this thread, are your'e not even aware of the coercing.
Dr. David Fowler, who was Maryland's chief medical examiner from 2002 to 2019 and is now a member of a consulting firm, testified during the trial for Chauvin that his medical opinion was that the cause of Floyd's death was "undetermined."

The Floyd medical examiner, Dr. Andrew Baker, was coerced to report that Floyd was asphixiated. here is Baker's original report (before the coercion) >> “The autopsy revealed no physical evidence suggesting that Mr. Floyd died of asphyxiation. Mr. Floyd did not exhibit signs of petechiae, damage to his airways or thyroid, brain bleeding, bone injuries, or internal bruising.”

Dude, you're citing the testimony of a now discredited witness for the defense. The jury didn't buy it and neither should you.

A forensic pathologist being sued by the family of a Black man killed by police is testifying for Derek Chauvin's defense

So what ? it;s an official court proceeding testimony.

Paule also filed a motion Wednesday asking the court to sanction prosecutors for allegedly failing to disclose information about the alleged coercion of a witness. Paule claimed that he Hennepin County medical examiner, Dr. Mark Baker, was coerced to include "neck compression" in his findings — and that prosecutors knew of it.

Paule wrote in his court filing that Baker initially said there was no physical evidence that Floyd died of asphyxiation. But after talking twice to Dr. Roger Mitchell – a former medical examiner in Washington, D.C. – he amended his findings to include neck compression as a factor, according to Paule.

Paule said that in one of the conversations, Mitchell called Baker and told him he was going to submit an opinion piece critical of Baker's findings to the Washington Post. When Baker released final autopsy findings June 1, they included neck compression, Paule wrote, and Mitchell never submitted his piece to the newspaper.

Mitchell, now chairman of the Department of Pathology at the Howard University College of Medicine, did not respond to a phone message left at the department Wednesday. A spokeswoman for Baker said they could not comment due to the pending case.

Paule also took aim at Mitchell's criticism of Dr. David Fowler, a key defense witness for Chauvin who testified that the former officer was not responsible for Floyd's death. After Mitchell and other doctors sent a letter to Maryland's attorney general, criticizing Fowler's conclusions, Maryland officials announced they would review all in-custody death reports during Fowler's tenure. Paule said Mitchell's accusations had a chilling effect on Thao's ability to find medical experts unafraid to testify on his behalf.

Chauvin did NOT abuse George Floyd. That was proven by the medical examiner, Dr. Andrew Baker, who reported there was no asphixiation to George Floyd, making the whole knee to the head or neck, irrelevant.

Baker was coerced by former Washington, D.C., medical examiner Dr. Roger Mitchell twice. After that, he changed his report from no asphixiation, to asphixiation. Charges should have been dropped. Should never have even gone to trial. You don't know what you're talking about.

That is fraud to contrast a PRELIMINARY report before the autopsy, to the FINAL report AFTER the actual autopsy.
The autopsy showed that blood coagulated in the carotid artery of George Floyd, where Chauvin has placed his shin on Floyd's neck.
That means it was deliberate murder by Chauvin.
All those who examined the body of George Floyd found that he had been murdered by Chauvin.

FALSE!
The "reports" of Floyd dying from asphixiation were nothing more than concocted rubbish designed to avoid race riots.

The original report from Dr Baker showing no asphixiation, is the ACTUAL report. The others are phonies.

NO, not all who examined the body of George Floyd found that he had been murdered by Chauvin. The offical medical examiner (Dr Baker) concluded no aspxiation. Dr Fowler concluded the same thing (death "undetermined") and testified to it in court.

Chauvin amd the other cops are sitting in prison just pacify criminal, black rioters, and mindless posters in this forum are accepting this. Sad state of affairs that we have come to, in this country.

Again, you're taking the lawyer for a convict at face value. He is working for a convict and offering an opinion for the court to consider.

This will be denied.

Asphyxiation from a shin across the carotid artery does not cause "signs of petechiae, damage to his airways or thyroid, brain bleeding, bone injuries, or internal bruising."

But asphyxiation from a shin across the carotid artery does cause blood to coagulate in the carotid artery at the point of compression, and that WAS found to be the case.

{...
Shortly after the family’s autopsy findings were announced, the Hennepin County medical examiner released its own findings, also concluding that the manner of death was homicide. The county attributed the cause of death to “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.”
...
In an interview, Dr. Michael Baden, who also participated in the private autopsy, said there was also some hemorrhaging around the right carotid area.
...
There is evidence in this case of mechanical or traumatic asphyxia.”

Wrong.
The private autopsy was top notch, no one contested it, and it was check by 3 different doctors.
There is absolutely no doubt at all that it was murder, and the video confirms it, as we can watch him die in front of our eyes.

If you wanted to prevent a race riot, then you would want to change the report to say he was not murdered, and that it was drugs instead.
