So, never mind that we actually spell centimeters differently here, what if..

Say you had a standard cup planted precisely 4¼ inches deep on the green, then you plant one exactly twice as deep one foot away such that the tops of each hole are perfectly level. Now you carefully place a golf ball exactly halfway between the two. Rolling the ball 3 inches towards which hole gives it (the ball) more energy?
