And Trump has done business with Russians for years.

These connections all intersect and it smells to high heaven.

Is it illegal to know a mob boss? No. Is it suspicious when a person or persons have connections with known mobsters? It damn sure is. It's those kinds of associations which can and will raise the suspicion among LE and Intelligence agencies. That could very well lead to surveillance, and that's exactly what happened with Trump's group.

That's what happens when people associate with known criminals whether it's common drug dealers, Russian mobsters, or people involved with money laundering.
