Why are dams beavers build natural but a dam a person builds not natural? I always find it interesting that people feel like we humans are not part of the natural world. We didn't come here from some alien planet, so everything we do to change our environment is just as much a part of nature as any other animal that changes their surroundings to better suit them.

Ok dumb dumb. Which planet did you come from? Earth right? So you are a mammal that comes from and lives on Earth, just like a beaver and every other mammal/animal/insect/plant etc that lives here. WE ARE PART OF NATURE, just like beavers, and lions, and tigers, and bears OH MY! We aren't some alien creature that has migrated here and upset the way things are supposed to be. Saying something is man made and therefore not natural is just like saying oh that's not natural it's beaver made. Beaver dams dont just spring up spontaneously a beaver has to cut down trees and fuck up an existing eco system just the same as if a human did it. It's beyond arrogant to think we are somehow above nature and the things we do are somehow outside that system. Do you know why beavers dont use chain saws or concrete to make dams? Because they cant. That's the one and only reason...

I have no problem giving Trump credit for good things he did. I supported his 3 SCOTUS picks, really liked his idea to privatize ATC, I gave him all sorts of love of changing the Fed Employee regs to make it easier to get rid of dead weight. I fully supported his getting us out of Afghanistan.

No....I am for smaller government and more freedoms. Conservatives have not stood for those things in my lifetime.

As I said, I am a capitalist. I have libertarian leanings in that I am a live and let live kind of guy. I think there are far too many things outlawed between two consenting adults.
