Possibly, but what do we get if they lose? Schumer and others have already told us what they want to do if the Democrats win the Senate. They want to get rid of the filibuster, stack the SC, add DC as a state, everything that they can do to ensure perpetual domination by the Democrat party. We have already seen what they do with the power that they have had in the past; spy on citizens, anything possible to reverse the will of the people and remove Trump, weaponize the DOJ, the IRS, and the FBI. They made last minute rules changes for the elections in PA, WI, MI, and GA. Lowered the standard for signature verification in a number of swing states, allowed drop boxes that encouraged vote harvesting even in places where such practices are illegal, and ensured that the chain of custody for votes was practically impossible.

These are not things that the Republicans want to do. These are things that the Democrats have done and want to do.

I understand that your OP was being a bit facetious but, if it comes down to choosing between someone who used insider information to make stock trades, and someone who literally holds the fate of the republic in their hands...
