I talked to a friend of mine that immigrated to this country from Mexico. He is dark skinned, yet he said he was never locked in a cell, separated from his children, denied food or water, and was in fact treated very well despite his ethnicity. I have a suspicion that the people we see pictures of locked in waiting cells may be there for reasons other than their skin color.
