Obviously you are clueless, as usual.
Programs that help the working middle class?
Socialism!
General Welfare means doing what is best for the overall good of the society.
As a member of society, some things are better done as an individual and some are better done as a society
Not if you follow First Nations. Miserable government administrations with miserable rez chiefs.
Now to an awesome effort. This is a great story. I'm going to pull a "Sophia" here.
Picture it. Home Depot wants to build a building in down town Toronto. Homeless camp is set up on said property.
Homeless advocates (the ones living in condos whilst everyone else lives in tents) refuse an offer of Home Depot to house every single person in the camp and provide them with clothing, education and job opportunities.
Finally a vote from the homeless campers got them moved out, and most of them have been complete success stories.
But the homeless advocates didn't want the homeless to succeed. They need poster children to drum up money for themselves.
In other words the Groupthink needed drones...the drones DEFIED the wishes of the groupthink elites...and took liberty for themselves...
No, we hate socialism. 'Programs that help the middle class' as you put it is just one way to call socialism something good, which it isn't. Clueless.Barack Obama's policies would have killed "julia" before she was born.
You guys are seriously derranged if you think people want cradle to grave government running our lives.
Which of those federal programs are running peoples lives?
Why do Republicans hate programs that help the middle class?
Because he is a socialist.Barack Obama's policies would have killed "julia" before she was born.

All of them.
I hate all unconstitutional programs that try to supplant our liberty in favor of politicians getting power and sucking off the taxpayer teat.
Why exactly are you so willing to sell your soul so politicians can get rich and stay in power?
Middle class has ZERO to do with anything. It's a rouse. ALL it has to do with is people that posess liberty...and fuck up..and cry FOUL.No, we hate socialism. That's not the same as making sure everyone is on welfare, Dear

Wow......buzzwords are really strong with you
Any use of funds to help the American people gets the "redistribution of wealth" whine
You have been well indoctrinated

No shit.
It's like when the cruise liners offered their ships that were disabled to house the homeless from NYC and the homeless advocates campaigned against it.
OR
Rock and wrap it up. I got my kids into this to help me up here when I was still living in TO.
Here's the deal. Every rock/folk/country/hip hop concert always has a ton of food right? Part of the rider.
This most wonderous genius out of NYC a dude called Sid sp?Mandelbaum went "don't let that food go to waste".
But they tried to demo the guy. He fought back and AMEN he's still trucking and others have also picked up his fight.
But they actually tried to derail the man over "health issues". Thank the good Lord, the dude is still rocking last I heard and still making sure the homeless get some really good meals.
But the so called "advocates" tried to take him out. Sheesh.

YOU are not worth the effort
Seems to me it's a pretty potent message. The more people think about how their lives might be affected by losing things like Medicare, Social Security, low-interest student loans, et. al., the more likely they WON'T be voting for the party which doesn't think they should have them in the first place.
Hence, all the wonderful butthurt by cons on display in this thread.
So because some fail we need to stop a program which has helped millions of Americans obtain an education?
NO. What needs to be changed is where it comes from. The FEDERAL Gubmint was never tasked under the Constitution to dole out charity. THAT was for the States and the private sector to decide.
