So what's this all about? These are items of warfare being prepared for possible use against ISIL. It was supposed to go to scrap but is now sitting in Kuwait, “just in case” it is needed in Iraq.

I do not believe U.S. troops should be used as a police force in a foreign country, but they are quite capable of sealing off areas to prevent incursions by hostile forces. It's time to start playing by OUR rules.
