No taxes, none. Now what do we pay for, and how?

A simple question for all those radical anti-tax people.

When it comes to going to war, how is that paid for?
Repairs to public roads and bridges after a natural disaster?
A standing army and navy?

Okay, let's hear it.

I don't know (or rather want to explain). Why don't you read a history book to figure out?

No thanks. If you can't tell me, I don't care.

And BTW, I know the history. We don't live in history, we live now.

Apparently you can't learn from history.

When you learn from history you know how we got where we are today.

Liberals thinking the Constitution says all sorts of things it simply doesn't say demanding someone else provide for freeloaders what the freeloaders should be doing of themselves. Show me in the Constitution anything that says food stamps, healthcare, WIC, government housing, etc. Taxes pay for those things for people too irresponsible to do for themselves. NONE of them are in the Constitution.

There would be no public roads or bridges, only private roads and bridges. Insurance companies would provide protection.

The current Secretary of State moved his $7M yacht down river so as to not pay taxes......all the white, he had offshore tax free accounts. When filing his Commonwhealth returns, he had the opportunity to contribute to the General Fund. He contributed $0 based on his returns. This was a guy who wanted to be President of the United States. Did you vote for him? Why don't you start your question with him because, clearly, the anti-tax people are following his lead.

Who suggested no taxes?

Okay, let's hear it.
Briapat, and his cookie sales for tanks.

He suggested no taxes at all?

Yep. Taxation is theft.

You're kidding, right? Even repealing hte 16thA does not mean eliminating all taxes. Many people favor the Fair Tax.
No such thing.
The FAIR tax is a specific legislative proposal. It's not an abstract concept.
The practical matter is, there is no such thng.

They could write a repeal of gravity but it also wouldn't be true.

Whether it's "fair" or not isn't the issue. It's an alternative to the income tax. That's all that matters.

It's not based on "feelings." It's based on logic and facts.

How does taxation differ from theft?

That was to Don't Taz, about what a moron you were.

As to your question, taxation is the price of doing business. No government, no capitalism.

And it will never happen. It's too regressive.

How does it differ from theft? You failed to answer the question.

A lot of people think capitalism is quite feasible without government.
