None of you are rich. Why are you defending billionaires?

Why does the left hate rich people?
The same reason the right hates the poor. The illusion that they are coasting along not pulling their own considerable weight while having every imaginable advantage showered upon them.

But we don't hate poor people. We dont divide people into classes. You do.

On the contrary, the right divides everything up into classifications - its easier than thinking. There's no need to consider policy details if its already been labeled for you as either left wing or right wing. For instance, you believe all attempts to raise taxes on the rich are attempts at "class warfare" - which absolves you of any actual obligations to consider the practical ramifications of either not raising taxes on the rich or raising them.

RDean - we know why you defend Socialism. You don't want your Food Stamps taken away from you. Don't worry, once Perry is elected, people of your ilk will be cut off at the knees.
The fact that you presume everyone who opposes the emerging plutocracy is on food stamps says you've been listening to the wrong messages. The overall and collective cost of the food stamp program is a pittance compared to the money which has been given to and stolen by the banks, by Wall Street and by the major corporations. Still, you and your political category stubbornly focus with bitter hostility on the weakest among us.

Unless you are among the rich you are being used by them.

Take class envy away form the Left, and they have nothing. Well, perhaps a smattering of fearmongering... but not much.

Do you have to be black to be against racism? Do you have to be gay to be for Gay rights? Since when does something have to affect you on a personal level to come out in the sake of fairness?

You want to close loopholes, by all means, go right ahead...but to say the wealthy "don't pay their fair share" is rigoddamndiculos to say the least. The bed wetting liberal screwballs in this country should be on their knees every night thanking them because without their money, they can kiss their entitlement programs goodbye across the board.

It has absolutely nothing to do with class envy. On the other hand, the right wing is entirely based on hatred of the poor and the weak.

Wow... how so?

LOL! When have the rich ever been oppressed?
You want to close loopholes, by all means, go right ahead.
That's not what the Republican party wants.

The typical rightwinger is obsessed with celebrity - especially rich celebrity. The rich to the right are like the royalty to the English - they love them, no matter what, and have no problem with them having more and more and more. They honestly believe that without rich people, the economy could produce nothing.

But the most recent trend in right wing ideology - and the most scary - is that financial success not only equals financial worth - it equals moral worth as well. If someone is poor, its because they are morally deficient - if someone is rich, it is because they are morally virtuous. And it matters not how this came into being. If you are born wealthy and never actually work in your life, then you are still the virtuous "job creator" to the right - while if you are born to a single parent in poverty and have a bad education, you are still poor because of character and moral deficiencies.

Thanks mom and dad for not raising me with such a victimized view of the natural order of things.

No shit... how'd you like to go through life with that outlook?

My view of what motivates the right wind has never been a burden, but thanks for your concern.

And Bob's your Uncle.

That's the whole Conservative view in a nutshell. The rich and powerful are rich and powerful because divinity made it so..or it's a "natural" right.

It's the whole theory behind monarchy.

Thanks. :clap2:

Poor people are poor because they are bad people, are they not?

Of course not... that's fucking stupid. Why would you say that?

Then please explain to use why they are poor.

I'd have to look at each individual case. Some are born into poverty, yet some rise out of poverty. Some people make very poor choices.... others have hard times fall on them.

There are a myriad of factors. But saying the poor are "bad" is ridiculous.

What a fuckin' clown.:cuckoo:

It's so easy to spot the idiots who have no original thoughts, and can only parrot what their left sites order them to parrot.

Fuckin' comical.

Oh, Emm Gee.

It is not "stealing" to expect someone to pay their fair share of the taxes. It's just not.

If the rich are'nt apying their fair share, why does W. Buffet owe 1 billion in back taxes?

I'd say he is just trying to avoid paying his "fair share". Obama wants them to carry ALL the weight. How is that "fair"?

One more thing... making $250K a year is FAR from being a billionare rdean!

accept he plainly stated people making over a million would see this new tax...so you and others are not even starting with the right facts

Liar... its actually less than I thought!

Say what you want.... Obama is trying to cripple this nation!
