North Carolina sets a new low

The cry out for lgbtqrstlne is a joke.

They should spend that money properly and get these people some counseling.

The tranny community has the same suicide rate as Jews in nazi internment camps. So unless we think living in American society is the exact same as being a Jew in a nazi internment camp then these people have some major mental issues and need help.

Not to mention that even when you give them radical hormone treatment or a sex change the suicide rate doesn't change.

They voted for the people in the government that make policies and decisions. That's how government works and you have no problem with it when the government, at whatever level, is doing things the way you like.
In the UK the parties put forward their policies and people can see what they are likely to get if they vote for that party.

I had assumed that was the case over there.
It is. The Republicans policy is to defeat Teh ghey. And they get voted for no matter what other stupid things they do.

You mean like the majority party voting to do what the majority party can vote to do?
If I understand you, yes. The majority party in NC finds defeating Teh ghey the most important thing to do.

It's the majority party voting doing with money something you don't like.
Yes, I think taking money from a budget set aside to help people to be used to hurt people is wrong.

Donald?

Why should they have to defend a law that ensures the right of women to be secure in the ladies room from freakazoid men? The DNC convention just got finished telling Americans that cities had the right to enforce so-called "sanctuary zones" that prevented federal authorities from enforcing immigration laws but the freaking hypocrites don't respect the laws passed by states that simply protect women from embarrassment.

Maybe they don't have a sugar daddy like George Soros to fund the defense of the rights of the majority in their state to regulate the BEHAVIORS of the people who live there. You might want to take a look at Hively v Ivy Tech (2016) of the 7th circuit. That opinion just make the $500K WAY less of a gamble for NC's legal position.

That being said, have you posted that photo in your OP to some of the Trump threads (or create one featuring it in the OP)? You absolutely should. That is one of the funniest and most thought-provoking photos I've seen of Trump's real threat to our country to date.

So are you saying you don't support Democracy? Do the people of North Carolina have the right to determine their own laws? It's their money, isn't it?

By the way.... $500K? That's barely enough to fix 2 homes. Not exactly a massive amount of money to begin with.
Sorry, I didnt realise that the people of North Carolina had voted for these policies.
This isn't your country, so of course you have no clue how a representative democracy works.

There is certainly a large amount of stupidity amidst the waffle.

This is my particular favourite.

We oppose sex education in public schools without parental consent. No birth control devices or drugs should be distributed in public schools. We support teaching abstinence until marriage as the expected norm for sexual behavior. Abstinence until marriage is the most effective way to prevent teenage pregnancies, abortion, and sexually transmitted diseases, and to create healthy relationships and self-esteem
Sounds good. Of course you being an anti American Brit don't like good morals. Who cares, keep your stupid anti American opinion on your side of the Atlantic. Scumbag.

How do you mean? Every state elects its own legislature. They are representatives of the people.

Believe it or not, not everyone on the Earth is pro-homo. The Palestinians voted for Hamas, and Hamas doesn't bother with court cases, they just kill homos.

Um. Tommy.

Here in America our political elitists constantly use our money in a shell game. It gets shuffled around all of the time.

As they skim off the top and slide some towards their favorite causes.

Welcome to America Tommy.
It happens here from time to time and it causes a massive stink. Being elected should not give you a free ticket to do what you like. You should implement the policies that you were elected on. NC did not vote to oppress the Gays and ordinary folk are now suffering for the actions of their legislators.

Nobody voted for these policies.

If North Carolina passed a law making it legal to string up niggas just for the fun of it, you'd be ok with that.

The federal government takes money every day from those that actually earned it in order to do nothing but give handouts to those that won't earn it. Any problems with that? Be consistent.

Yes they did. The legislature voted to do it.

Tammy needs to worry about his own little country, and not worry his pretty little Hitler mustache about what goes on in the U.S.

The difference is when the government plays that shell game moving things to places that Tommy supports, he has no problem.

His issue isn't with the money being moved. It's with what the money will now be used to do.

Are you opposed to those, the parents, giving permission and doing what parents should be doing?

Nothing untrue about abstinence being the most effective way. It's 100% guaranteed 100% of the time.
