Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), the likely successor to House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), told Fox News’s Sean Hannity explicitly on Tuesday night that the Clinton investigation was part of a “strategy to fight and win.”

He explained: “Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she’s untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened, had we not fought.”

The Republican-led House hasn’t been particularly good at governing, but perhaps governing has never been the point. Why govern when there’s a future election to influence?

When those 3 emails were NOT EVEN PROPERLY MARKED CLASSIFIED? They had no markings at the top of the documents for her to even spot.... That's one of these lies under oath?

The FBI Director today said they were marked classified. I only know what I heard and saw, not what I imagined.

First of all, I doubt that you even pay federal taxes.

Furthermore, there was obviously a total failure of security in Benghazi. This is after their multiple requests for more security personnel were repeatedly denied by the Clinton State Department.

At the time, Benghazi was under Al Qaeda control due to the Obama administration bombing the crap out of the Libyan armed forces on their way to Benghazi to wipe out AQ. Basically, Obama let AQ borrow the U.S. military to fight off the Libyan armed forces.

The security at the compound consisted of just 2 people even though the perimeter wall had a huge hole in it because it had been car bombed earlier. WTF!!!

Of course they needed to investigate!
