NASA space shuttle commander goes rogue and LEAVES OUT endorsement of Trump in RNC speech - despite it being in her prepared remarks
  • Eileen Collins had planned to give her backing to the party's nominee
  • Was part of draft of the speech she'd given to the convention committee
  • But when she got on stage, she didn't give The Donald her support
  • Collins said before the convention she didn't want speech to be partisan
  • After her speech, Ted Cruz also refused to endorse Trump, and was booed

A retired NASA astronaut left out her endorsement of Donald Trump during her Republican convention speech.

Eileen Collins had planned to give her backing to the party's nominee during her address to the Cleveland crowd on Wednesday night.

But the first female commander of an American space shuttle didn't lend her support to The Donald when she made it on stage - even though it was in her prepared remarks.

She did hint at his campaign slogan, saying: 'We need leadership that will make America great again'.

Eileen must be taking sides with the women.

and voting Clinton.

Her word is not her bond.

her speech wasn't her bond ... like another lady we know :eusa_whistle:
Aw. You have a sense of humor after all. Good for you.

Here's the thing. She submitted her speech to the committee. When she gave the speech it was different than the one she submitted. Unless it was accidental, what she did was dishonest. Ladies don't do that.

I'll say this one more time so write it down ... you can write can't you?

Complex thought required;

Because I rail against Trump doesn't mean I support Clinton.
