Obama: GOP 'Holy Grail' Is 'Making Sure 30 Million People Don't Have Healthcare'

Ever notice how many right wingers don't even have healthcare and never did?

And gol dernit to road kill stew we en ain't ever gonna go to one a those "citified" doctors. Don't trust. Never did. Ma pardy says vaccines give you awtism.

Just between you and I, deanie.....

.....I don't need CommieCare.....

!

You also don't need a job because someone else is paying all your bills. lolol

Jealous just because I picked the numbers in the Powerball Lottery????

So if 30 million that the Republicans want to deprive of affordable healthcare is not a good number,

how many millions do the Republicans want to deprive of affordable healthcare?

Strawman false choice question.

ObamaCare is NOT HEALTH CARE. It is a Big Government Insurance and Price Control Program. It does absolutely nothing to increase the supply of health care.

More insurance without any increase in health care providers doesn't increase health care availability...it just puts the government in the center of rationing. And it's quite telling that the former ACORN operatives being hired as Negotiators have been given the signal to identify party affiliation.

If the Ryan budget wants to cut Medicaid by 31% in 10 years, convince me that no one will lose affordable healthcare if that were made law.

Medicaid is not Affordable Health Care...it is FREE HEALTH CARE paid for by other people who are struggling to support their own families.

Health insurance is not health care.

Seem Obambam is too stupid to realize that.

so is his dumb base, but that is what he RELIES on..

Obama is an absolute HORRIBLE person who lies straight to your face then probably laughs his off over it and goes play golf...

that's a snake in my book

I heard him say that line of bullshit.

Just because I don't think it's our government's responsibility to provide us with health insurance, nevermind REQUIRING purchase, that does NOT mean I don't think people should have it.

Well, I don't think it's the government's "responsibility" to protect the private interests of corporations overseas. But it does and at great expense.

Given a choice?

I'd rather spend money on saving grandma and the kids..then protecting the Koch's Iraqi oil fields.

So a program that lowers someone's healthcare costs doesn't benefit them financially, doesn't make their healthcare more affordable?

You're as mental as ever.

so you'd rather have granny and the kids freeze in winter....?

we already help grandma and the kids....why create more and more government around healthcare.....?

He tried for years to reach across, now he's telling it like it is- The GOP is a bunch of greedy a-holes and their silly brainwashed dupes, now imploding under the weight of their own BS.Couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of ignorant fools. LOL

So you actually believe he tried or even attempted to reach across the isle? What fantasy land do you live in? Your pompous Messiah's version of compromise is to circumvent and ram. Ask Nancy and Harry, they may set you straight, if that is at all possible. Reality sucks doesn't it?

Pretty f...king SIMPLE!!!
First of ALL EVERYONE including RYAN has to admit THERE NEVER WERE 46 million uninsured!
18 million are people under 34 who out of their $50k per year PAY their OWN health care costs... WRONG then to count them!
14 million are people AlREADY calculated in MEDICAID as being covered! Yet that 46 million counted THEM WRONGLY!!!
10 million are NOT citizens...
So Ryan, et.al. have to agree. NEVER 46 million but less the 4 million!

What CAN happen though is TAX lawyers 10% and use the $27 billion to pay the premiums for ALL those means tested that
want and NEED insurance when they go to the hospital and the hospital instead of PADDING AND PASSING on the costs..
WILL send claims for these uninsured paid out of the $27 billion!

Then with that in place insurance companies/Medicare PAY claims according to physicians of more then $850 billion a year All because they fear lawsuits will see a reduction in both hospital bloated claims and physicians reducing defensive medicine claims.
Both of these reductions easily over $200 billion will under STATES' laws require lower premiums!
IT IS A FACT! insurance companies won't be raising premiums as they are doing now but lowering them.
Once they are lowered... MANY of the Medicaid will be rolled into private insurance.. thus reducing Medicaid significantly and
that is WITHOUT using Ryan's formula!!!

"
Where you get this bullshit number of $850 Billion is anyone's guess.
THE f..king Doctors say so dumb shit!

HERE READ the surveys where 90% of physicians SAY THEY SPEND $850 billion a year UNNECESSARILY due to FEAR of F...king Lawsuits@!
90% of physicians say they order $850 billion a year in wasted duplicate tests, referrals all out of FEAR of being SUED!

Then riddle me this, Batman, explain to me how it is that in Texas, where they had the most draconian Tort Reform in limiting how much "pain and suffering" one could receive when your doctor cuts off the wrong leg or kills your granny, but they haven't seen any reduction in medical costs. In fact, they've shot up.

Here's the thing. A doctor might TELL you that he's doing this to "protect himself from lawsuits", but he gets a kickback from the specialist, he gets a kickback from the insurance company, and so on.

AND by the way.... dummy PROVE LIKE I do my statements with LINKS READ the links then get back to me to prove you can read!

Guy, I'm nonetsly starting to think you are some kind of high functioning retard.

That or you did something really fucked up and a Lawyer made you pay for it.

Here's the link for the article I posted earlier, since you are obviously too lazy to use google.

Opinion: Why Tort Reform Won't Solve the Healthcare Cost Crisis - WNYC

Here's some more from the same article..

One of the more optimistic predictions was that doctors would simply stampede to Texas in order to set up practice thanks to Governor Perry’s legal protections. But the latest info from the American Association of Medical Colleges has Texas ranking 42nd in the country in doctors per 100,000 people. If Texas is such a safe haven for doctors, then surely they can do better than that - 202 doctors per 100,000 people is a significantly lower ratio of practicing physicians than Rhode Island (ranked 4th), Vermont (ranked 6th), Connecticut (ranked 5th), and New Hampshire (ranked 11th) Each of these states have much lower populations and, interestingly enough, no limits whatsoever on non-economic damages in medical malpractice cases.

Now, here's the thing. I don't want my doctor chopping on teh wrong leg or mistaking an old broken bone for cancer... I want him to do those tests.

I'm just not sure why you don't.

Actually Obamacare will hurt more than it helps. It will wind up taking more people off of their current coverage than it grants.

A conundrum for the ages.

Not really. But I know you really, really need to believe that.

Because honestly, you are kind of like one of these 1950's wingnuts who thought Flouridation in the water was a terrible idea.

I'm 51 and still have all my teeth, which is more than I can say for people in my parents' generation.

I've seen studies showing it decreases iq. :eusa_shhh:
