See? The reporter started it. You ask a question, you expect an answer.

Hard to see how you can work a propaganda machine if you have to wait for somebody to ask the right question so you can begin. The photo from last summer sat around for months, unnoticed and insignificant, until now, the moment when we can dig it up and theorize about what the photo's birth certificate says. And sure enough we already have people doctoring it to fit some agenda.

Now if you have some story where O'bama contradicted himself on a similar question, you might have sump'm. But all this is is a simple answer to a simple question, generating a fake-outrage thread, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Did anyone question the birthplace or to what religion of either man? Over and over again? Even after the questions were laid to rest? And still question them regardless?

What tore it, with me, for Bush was the whole Pat Tillman thing. He (or someone in his administration) lied to the family of a fallen hero. Nobody was courts-martialed (sp?) for that or was otherwise held to serious account for it. Nobody. Not only was it un-presidential, it was un-Christian which is fine--I'm not much of a practicing Christian myself--but when you envoke Jesus and "the Father" as the source of your strength...you should embody the teachings.

This is what should lead to disliking someone...outrageous and non-ambiguous actions where there is a clear right and wrong. Obamacare, for all of it's faults, will extend health benefits to 40+ Million Americans who do not have the insurance coverage to go get a lump in their breast looked at and will have to just "hope it goes away". You hate the man for that? Fuck you then.
