Obamacare collapsing, GOP has votes to replace, & NOW libs want to work together

The fact remains any socialized medicine like single payer only suits those who abuse such things. The ones That have to pay for it get nothing out of it and are forced.

Stupid. At some point if we live long enough we will all 'abuse" such things. Unless you just want to go ahead and die when you don't have to

We need single payer....

Period...

Going back to something worse then we had before Obamacare is pure idiocy.
You progressives need single payer... The rest of us do not

Sho ya right. You can pay that 100,000 for surgery and rehab out of you own pockets.

That's why people carry insurance

Well you see the problem with that is if you get one of those surgeries while carrying insurance you get rated up and you pay more in premium because you now are an increased risk. Furthermore of it is a bad enough case, you will be dropped from coverage as uninsurable because the company must make a profit and can't afford to keep paying for your medical needs. Then we come to the lifetime maximum, whereby if you have cost he company x amount of dollars because of your illnesses, you are done and the insurance company can end your policy. Then go try getting another one while being older and with a pre existing condition.

So all this small minded simpleton talking by you conservatives only shows that you know basically nothing and if you did, you would understand that a single payer system is the best option we have as a country

You know you're a pu$$y when you're in power and you tell your enemies to go F* themselves but you beg like a little bitch for them to work with you after they kick you ass and take that power from you.

Snowflakes are begging right now...pu$$ies.

Why not just fix it?
Hmmm...

Built on lies.
Doesn't work as promised.
Rammed down people's throats...
Etc...

I would agree with fixing it on one condition:

Politicians stop violating the Constitution / law by illegally exempting themselves from it.

Insurance is not healthcare, anyway who would trust insurance companies to pay the bills? They always find a way out of it

Rammed down peoples' throats?
It took 17 months with multiple hearings and was analysed by the CBO I'm reliably informed whereas the Republican version...well...

In any case...it's there...wouldn't it be easier to fix it?
Presumably everyone agrees that there should be a reliable and efficient healthcare sytem that works for everyone.

A minority-supported socialist bill was rammed down the throats of a majority of Americans who opposed it and were told thry had no right to know what was even in it until the libtards had rammed it into law.

Quit trying to talk about the constitution. You don't understand it.

Why are conservatives obsessed with having things rammed down their throats?
It's a recurring theme.

Anyway...be that as it may...

This Republican alternative was crafted in less than three months. The ACA was the subject of dozens of congressional hearings, with hundreds of witnesses from both sides of the aisle. The AHCA was the subject of just a couple of purely partisan committee meetings.
At one point, President Obama went to Blair House and engaged in an exhaustive seven-hour back-and-forth on the details of the legislation with Republicans and Democrats alike.\

The ACA even received one Republican vote in committee.

In stark contrast, those developing the AHCA, many of whom characterized the ACA’s process as arrogant and rushed, have made no effort to include Democrats in the process in any way. The bill was developed solely on a partisan basis by the House Republican caucus. No Democrats have voted in favor of the legislation at any stage.

Even more galling is the fact that upon becoming speaker of the House, Paul Ryan pledged that “The committees should retake the lead in drafting all major legislation” — yet there has not been a single committee hearing on the new bill.

Perhaps most significantly, opponents of the ACA always argued that the effects of the law were not well understood before Congress had to vote on it.

This is clearly wrong — not only were there dozens of hearings and the Massachusetts example, but the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) supplied there multiple “scores” that clearly illustrated the effects that the law would have. Over time, the CBO numbers proved to accurately project trends in insurance premiums and coverage.

In contrast, Republicans are asking for a vote today on a bill that has not even been scored by the CBO. The numbers I cited above are from a CBO report that analyzed a much earlier version of the legislation. There have been dozens of changes since, most of which seem likely to worsen its design. But we don’t know their effects — because Republicans won’t even wait for a CBO score before bringing the new measure to a vote!

They are literally asking for a vote on a bill before there is any clear estimate of the effect it will have on our citizens.

Republicans' astonishing health-care hypocrisy

The Republican bill has 25% support from the American people. Given the political consequences for the Democrats of passing the ACA with 40-something percent support,

are the Republicans really interested in political suicide?
