tumblr_inline_oo1mtctZIP1s2opo4_500.png

We now have 7 full years of economic data since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (ACA or “Obamacare”). So, as Republicans in Washington continue their relentless assault on the ACA, it’s a good time to take stock of how America actually fared in the Obamacare Economy.

Before turning to the facts, a reminder of the narrative that the GOP has been pushing about the ACA for so long:

“It will bankrupt our nation, and it will ruin our economy! … This health care law … is already destroying jobs in our country.” — John Boehner, 2011

“We now know that Obamacare has been one of the single biggest drags on job creation since early 2010.” — Mitch McConnell, 2012

“[T]his is going to blow a hole through the deficit even more than we had already thought.” — Paul Ryan, 2012

“Obamacare is directly responsible for destroying jobs and lowering wages for workers” — Senate Republican Policy Committee, 2014

“It is the biggest job-killer in this country.” — Ted Cruz, 2016

“Obamacare is devastating businesses." — Donald Trump, 2016

“Obamacare … this disastrous policy that's been killing jobs." — Mike Pence, 2016

Let’s tackle these false “job-killing, wage-reducing, deficit-busting” myths one by one:

The Obamacare Economy: 7 Years, 16 Million Jobs Created, Middle-Class Incomes Up $3K

It looks like read per capita income decreased every year of his administration.

Way to go, Obama!

LOL you do know that Obama's presidency didn't end in 2013, right?

The chart goes to 2015, moron.

No it doesn't moron

here is one that does:

So the net was negative for his administration - and still considerably below the value in 2000
Did Obama's predecessor exceed the high point of the administration prior?

But you fail to understand....

The Gateway Pundit was desperate to come up with something for the Faithful......It wouldn't do to let the Largest YoY increase in real Median Household Income, and the 3rd highest increase in private sector employment among all presidential terms, stand unsullied.

And there is something else these idiots don't know......(I know....that list is inexhaustible)

AND Obama had NO major events such as these to contend with! NOTHING happened of the magnitude of these events.
PLUS Obama benefited with TARP payback and still racked up the largest contribution to the national debt!
HERE ARE THE FACTS NOT guesses!

Not a one......other than what some call The Great Recession.....View attachment 124158

You can spot it.....right there in the upper left hand corner.....

You are right. I agree. There was the "great recession"....
AND THATS IT! THAT'S ALL YOU CAN HANG AND SAY WAS THE WORST COMPARED TO THESE EVENTS???
WOW. Certainly hard to dispute that especially when TARP STARTED Under Bush costing GWB's budget $600 Billion but it was
ALL paid back with a profit... and Obama still accumulated the most deficit of any president to date!

So name another cataclysmic event EQUAL to Dot.com bust, recession, 9/11 attack on WTC/Pentagon, anthrax attacks, hurricanes, and by the way
you never seem to know anything about the $500 billion drain on 9/18/08 did you? What would Obama have done in any of those events?

Policymakers' actions in late 2008 and early 2009 prevented the Great Recession from becoming another Great Depression, according to a recent analysis by former Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Alan Blinder and Moody's Analytics Chief Economist Mark Zandi. That probably surprises anyone who's only heard that President Barack Obama's stimulus program was a "failure" and financial stabilization measures like the Troubled Asset Relief Program were just "bailouts" for those who caused the problem in the first place.

I want to be sure I understand you....

Are you maintaining that the consequences of The Great Recession were of a lesser magnitude than those you list?

A simple yes or no will suffice.....I don't want to see more of your fucking inventory of idiocy....

I'm not in the class of lying douche bags that you belong to.
You lied about your chart just a few minutes ago....

Was 2015 the last year of the Obama administration?

if so, why would you say something as fucking stupid as

The original graph is clearly for only up to 2013.

Clearly because WE ACTUALLY HAVE more recent data to-2015 and know what it looks like.

Median income: The jump in median income was one of the largest annual increases Census has recorded. The growth was also widespread, with geographic regions and races (except for Asians) seeing increases.

Behind the pay hike is the big increase in employment, Census officials said. Some 3.3 million more Americans were working full-time, year-round, pushing up median income. Some 1.4 million more men and 1 million more women had jobs last year.

"Strong labor markets make a big difference in helping to connect low- and middle-income working families to the broader economy," said Jared Bernstein, senior fellow at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

Median income jumps 5.2% in 2015

Note the underlined....what do you figger will happen to real median household income consequent to a Lost Decade where private sector payrolls SHRANK over the course of 8 years?

You are of course taking year span lapsing 2 years, but it does meet criteria of annual 3%+ growth...just not 3%+ within same year, which is a superficial difference anyway.

Besides, you take Bush's bubble-about-to-explode growth out and he never had one either...but he did have GREAT FUCKING RECESSION, while Obama's record is recession-free.

A simple yes or no will suffice.....I don't want to see more of your fucking inventory of idiocy....

Totally of a LESSER Magnitude"
GEEZ you dummy!
So you put NO value on the 3,000 human lives lost 9/11? Obama's dinky ass recession NEVER had ANY deaths involved!
So you put NO value on the 1,836 lives lost in the worst hurricane SEASONS... not just a hurricane... You don't care about those lives?
So you put NO value on the nearly $12 Trillion in market losses, business losses, home losses, government guarantees.. ($105 billion alone on 9/18/2008)?
What kind of LOSSES were ever comparable with the dinky recession that Obama experienced?
And the Anthrax attacks? Right after 9/11? Do you know how many people died and the national panic that ensued with any mail? GEEZ where were YOU?
Finally all those losses of lives, of property of businesses of stock value CREATED LOST TAX REVENUE! And you think Obama's dinky recession which by the
way again you totally ignore was HELPED out before Obama took office with TARP and TARP's nearly $700B was paid back in full to the idiot plus a profit of $80B!

And NO apologies for listing this again because obviously you have such a short attention span it isn't for you dummy!
It is for other people who totally recognize these events occurred. Lives were lost. Trillions in business, etc. lost! The dinky recession PALES besides these events!
20 years from now historians with the advantage of 20/20 hindsight will declare GWB one of the great president's! And Obama? A sad symbol of racism gone backwards!

Employees working fewer hours due to Obamacare: survey
Some U.S. workers are ringing in the fifth anniversary of Obamacare by working fewer hours, according to a new survey.

A new survey by the Society of Human Resource Management released Tuesday
found about 14 percent of businesses have reduced part-time hours and another 6 percent plan to do so.
Employers are reducing hours to avoid Obamacare's employer mandate, which requires companies to provide health insurance to all workers that work
30 or more hours a week.

Employees working fewer hours due to Obamacare: survey

And idiots LIKE Obama wonder WHY???

O added almost $10 trillion to the US debt, more than his 43 predecessors summed together.

That's what Dems consider "successful," he made lots of US taxpayer cash VANISH into thin air.
