Oh goody, tens of thousands in Kentucky to lose their health care. Thanks GOP!

This is a lie: "Obummer care collapsing all around".

It's only a lie to people who aren't paying attention.

Taz, you could post comprehensive evidence for your point but the problem is: that does not exist.

Not exactly difficult to do. You have ObamaCare co-ops shutting down shop left and right all across the country. People's premiums are continuing to rise despite the lie about a an average decrease of $2500 per family. Young people aren't signing up, which is exactly what the entire program is hinged on, and at the end of the day 3/4 of the people enrolled through an ObamaCare exchange already had insurance prior to its passage, so the couple million it's actually helped are only a fraction of the tens of millions who got screwed in order to provide it.

Don't you read the news? I see at least one article every week discussing a new failure in the ACA.
No, you don't, and, no, you can't. All you can do is talk.

Translation - "You answered my question, but it's not what I want to hear, so I'm going to put my fingers in my ears and pretend you didn't answer it."

Stupid is as stupid votes, you pulled the lever for Hope and Change, the fundamental transformation of America, the lower'er of oceans and healer of the planet, and he and Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid , behind closed doors, have now taken away the RIGHT of people to choose whether to have healthcare or not. Obamacare is not collapsing, it's working well in KY.

So what are you going to tell all these people when you pull their insurance?
That they can keep their insurance if they like it?

The lie worked for Obama after all
Obama didn't take away anyone's insurance, and neither did ObamaCare. Private insurers did that.

Of course, you'll continue to lie.

Can you show any evidence that anyone has been, or will be, denied the right to buy health insurance?

I guess that's a "no." :eusa_whistle:
Swimfrog is a master of the fallacy of the false question.

I've told you before, if you're going to invoke accusations of logical fallacies then you need to get an education on the subject before you do.

What you are attempting to refer to is the complex question fallacy, whereby an individual asks a question which presumes a premise as true, and then uses a response to the question as if it were an affirmation of the assumed premise. For example: "Have you changed your evil ways?" presumes the premise "You engaged in evil ways" as a true statement. If a respondent answered the question and the asker then attempted to use the response as evidence that the respondent admits evil ways, then the asking party would be guilty of the complex question fallacy.

That is not what I have done here. I asked if Rdean has evidence that his claims are true. He's the one who is saying that people are going to lose their insurance, he's the one who is implying that it's going to be the government's fault. Can he produce evidence that the government will be preventing anyone from having insurance?

Last month the Kentucky Hospital Association released a stinging indictment of the financial calamity KYNECT has imposed on them in a report titled “Code Blue,” which concluded in bold print: “The bottom line: Kentucky hospitals will have higher losses and lower operating margins due to the ACA [and KYNECT], with a projected net loss of $1 billion from 2014 to 2020.” That finding was based on “an independent analysis of the ACA’s impact on Kentucky hospitals” conducted by the Dobson/DaVanzo consulting firm.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), the federal health reform law enacted in March 2010, was intended to slow the growth in health care spending and expand health coverage to the uninsured with a variety of reforms. These reforms include:

Important changes in rules relating to private
health insurance, such as eliminating limits on pre- existing conditions and lifetime coverage caps and prohibiting health premiums from being based on a patient’s health condition

Allowing individuals to buy health insurance from online health insurance exchanges (Kentucky’s is known as Kynect) and providing financial subsidies to help buy coverage for those whose incomes are below 400% of the poverty level ($79,160 for a family of three)3

Expanding Medicaid coverage (the federal/state health coverage program for low-income citizens) to people with income up to 138% of the poverty level ($27,310 for a family of three)4

As noted earlier, the implementation of these reforms in Kentucky has resulted in 413,000 additional Kentuckians being signed up for health coverage as of April 21, 2014, with approximately 75% (330,615) enrolled in Medicaid and 25% (82,795) buying private coverage through Kynect.5

http://www.new-kyha.com/Portals/5/NewsDocs/Code Blue Report Web.pdf

NOW the KEY NUMBERS out of all this: 75% (330,615) enrolled in Medicaid and 25% (82,795) buying private coverage through Kynect.5 "

First THERE never
were 46 million "uninsured" Americans as Obama kept lying and idiots never figured out!
“I don’t have to explain to you that nearly 46 million Americans don’t have health insurance coverage today. In the wealthiest nation on Earth, 46 million of our fellow citizens have no coverage.”

A F...KING HYPERBOLIC statement and YES A LIE as Obama KNEW that of the 46 million, 10 million were not legal citizens!!!!
PROOF THAT WAS A LIE??
1) 10 million Obama counted were not Americans... not citizens per the Census:
Proof: Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2009 - Income & Wealth - Newsroom - U.S. Census Bureau
2) Obama failed to get 14 million people eligible for Medicaid enrolled. That's all that is needed. That leaves 22 million.
http://coverageforall.org/pdf/BC-BS_Uninsured-America.pdf
3) 18 million under 34 don't NEED insurance. Can afford employers' plans as they make over $50k. That leaves 4 million.
CRISIS OF THE UNINSURED: 2009

THERE NEVER WERE 46 million but less then 4 million YET NBC,CBS,ABC NEVER EVER called Obama on these lies!
AFTER ACA was passed Obama agreed 10 million of the 46 million were not legal!!!

So too in Kentucky! Proof is that 75% of the supposedly signed up were MEDICAID!!!! All they would have had to do was sign up for Medicaid.
But Obama and other idiots NEVER wanted to solve the problem of less then 4 million total AMERICANS that wanted and needed coverage!
It would have been so simple! Called "Uninsured Health Insurance Co. (UHIC)" But not one of Obama et.al. ever looked into this!
A simple premise that would have covered ALL the 4 million with a $5,000 per year premium paid for by taxes lawyers 10%....JUST AS ACA taxed
tanning salons! This $27 billion would provide all the 4 million that qualified means tested for UHIC and their claims would be paid for!

But the majority of people NEVER questioned the phony 46 million figure!

Medicaid which is paid for by we the taxpayer. 75% are being SUBSIDIZED by we the taxpayer.

Those of us who have benefits are paying for our own coverage and every other swinging dick in the country who can't take care of themselves. Such a fucking deal.

What happens when the Fed stops all that Medicaid money going to the States?? The States will have to pick up the tab that's what.

The ACA is an unmitigated disaster that's been foisted on the American taxpayers by a bunch of fucking idiots.

swimfrog is not an expert on the logic of fallacies.

He created a fallacy of a false assumption question: if this, then that. Go back and read his question: it is so easy to deal with his inability to create good questions.

Obama said that if you like your insurance you could keep your insurance. That was a lie.

What was true was that if you not like your insurance you would be able to not keep your insurance.

Liberals everywhere vote against their own interests.
