Trump talked in plain language and explained the issues so that the general public could understand. Pelosie was squirming behind Trump as he touted the accomplishments, she wanted to find a rock to hide under.

According to a source at CBS, the poll was actually 78% in favor of Trump's vision and plan and that number was reduced by the staff. I'm waiting for verification but this would not surprise me.. Democrats are hanging onto a rock that is sinking fast.

The poll I am interested in is the one three days from now after it all sinks in...

Two weeks ago, the United States officially recognized the legitimate government of Venezuela, and its new interim President, Juan Guaido.

We stand with the Venezuelan people in their noble quest for freedom — and we condemn the brutality of the Maduro regime, whose socialist policies have turned that nation from being the wealthiest in South America into a state of abject poverty and despair.

And then Trump went there…he dropped the big S-Word on the Democrats in the House chamber…and it was glorious.

Here, in the United States, we are alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our country.

America was founded on liberty and independence — not government coercion, domination and control.

“Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will NEVER be a socialist country. We are born free…and we will STAY free!”

BOOM!

Democrats did not know how to react. Nancy couldn’t figure it out. Half the chamber looked stunned and confused, without their pollsters to tell them the proper response, when Americans were applauding their TVs!

Then the camera gave us the PERFECT shot of Bernie Sanders…and he was NOT happy!

This is how he needs to present the contrast. No matter who runs for the Dems, they will be vastly further left than any other candidate in history.

Trump needs to keep the focus on this, his fighting against China which he should suggest NONE of them will do (and even suggest they will roll back the clock to Obama years where China destroyed the economy), the economy and illegal immigration.

If and when he calls a National Emergency and builds the wall, they have a huge hill to climb.

President Donald Trump did the unthinkable Tuesday night during his State of the Union address: he inspired a phalanx of left-wing women members of Congress, wearing white in protest, to jump to their feet and applaud.

This was not a poll of voters. It is a poll of people who watched the SOTU on CBS. What it tells you is that the people who watched were mostly Trump supporters. They didn't need to be convinced. If Trump had said he was going to be dictator for life, 76% would have approved.
