Not every Hamas militant is a killer, I agree, and I have no problem with those who join only to protest peacfully or take part in non-terrorist activities.
But to my mind every terrorist will burn in hell, be they Hamas, Irgun, Hezbollah, Baader Meinhoff or Weather Underground.

Yes, that's true - I used to live 1.5 kms from the Lebanese border and 6 kms from Syria, and certainly believed and believe in armed defence for Israel in those areas.
I just don't believe in the use of unjustified offensive force or the use of non-military targets.
I have no problem with people using force to defend their homes and families wherever they live, but that force should always be directed at the people responsible, and not at ordinary civilians. I also think that force should be non-lethal where possible - as we saw used very effetively by Palestinians in Intafada 1.
