Joe Scarborough finally grew a pair and was no longer afraid to call out the president on his own terms. I am sure we'll be seeing this more and more as people realize that he can't start a street fight with each and every one. Trumpty Dumpties days as a bully are coming to a close.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough on Friday blasted President Trump's tweet about the media, calling the the commander-in-chief a "fake president" for attacking the press.
"Only a FAKE PRESIDENT would declare the First Amendment to be the enemy of the American people," Scarborough tweeted.

The media continues to ignore the fact that they're even lower than Trump in approvals.
The national press stopped being reporters and have become thinly-veiled advocates, and it happened before Trump got here.
He's just pointing at it.

.
Wrong. Trump said this:
“Any negative polls [about him] are fake news, just like the CNN, ABC, NBC polls in the election,” Trump said.
That is not someone pointing out a media bias. That is someone living in an insane delusion that he can do no wrong, and anyone who says otherwise is lying.

Trump thinks the press has an obligation to prop HIM up.
No, he doesn't.
Yes he does. He claimed that anything negative in the press about him is fake news.
There is now a concern among the media that the Trump Administration is actively planting stories which they can then deny and point to as examples of "fake news" in the MSM.
One recent example is the idea of using the National Guard to round up illegal immigrants. A draft Memo of how to do this was "leaked" to the press, from Homeland Security, which went with the story and the Trump Administration denied they ever considered such a thing.
What the press were able to learn was that the Administration had asked someone to draft such a memo, but no such idea was ever considered. So why ask for a Memo?
Apparently the Memo was deliberately leaked so the press would make a big to do about it and the Administration could say - "You see, Folks. The media lies, they can't be trusted, this is just another example".
It's one thing to not like the stories being written, but quite another to deliberately try to undermine the credibility of the press by planting fake stories.
What do you expect the enemy to say? and just like the enemy would do he lied and quoted trump as saying "the first amendment was the enemy of the American people"...he never said that....if they are not the enemy then why lie like that? the first amendment must be defended at all costs and the media needs to be identified as the enemy...nothing conflicting about that.Joe Scarborough finally grew a pair and was no longer afraid to call out the president on his own terms. Trump was merely the tool, as it were, used to make the point.
Now that we have that figured out, there's no reason to continue.
