Our enemies must love our partisans

Yep, and the biggest Partisan is residing in our white house. they (haters of America) are surely loving them some Obama. He doesn't chastise terrorist, Muslims etc. NO he gets on the world stage and shoots nasty remarks at the people he supposedly represents.

the most despicable man I have ever had to live under. but the terrorist is loving him

As with most issues polluted and distorted by partisan ideology, reality is probably somewhere in the middle on this whole ISIS/refugees/terrorism mess. On one hand, some on one side are clearly over-reacting, on the other hand, some on the other side are so busy mocking and ignoring the obvious that it's reasonable to wonder what they're thinking.

The problem those who are mocking could have is this: It could just take one (1) domestic terrorist event to blow a hole in your behavior, and I wonder if you see that. And that could lead to an absolute flood of knee-jerk over-reaction by the country in general. You could be setting up an even worse version of what you say you want to avoid.

Amid all the partisan fun you appear to be having with mocking conservatives (as French families mourn their dead), I wonder if this has occurred to you.

My guess is that ISIS and their supporters are finding value in the behavior of both narcissistic ends of the American political spectrum. You're both hurting us.

I doubt the ISIS Terrorists are really thinking that far in advance.

Okay, here's the thing. ISIS doesn't want to EXPORT terrorists. They barely have enough men to hold the territory they've got against the Syrians, Iraqis, Iranians and Russians. They'd like to IMPORT Terrorists if they could.

The guys who carried out the attacks last week weren't Syrian Refugees, they were French Citizens of North African Descent

MEANWHILE< thanks to the NRA and our lax gun laws, we have 700,000 Americans on the FBI's Terror watch list who are able to walk into a gun store and buy a gun and apparently, 2000 of them have done exactly that since 2004.

Report: Thousands of Suspected Terrorists Still Buy Guns Legally?!

Now, I'd ask some questions, like

1) Why is it so easy for these guys who can't get on an airplane to be able to buy a gun? (Waiting for some inbreds here to scream about "Freedom" and "Founding Fathers", but does anyone SANE have a good reason for that.)

2) Why does the FBI suck so bad at vetting these people that we have 700,000 people on a watch list to start with? What qualifies you to get on this watch list.

Yep, the attackers as usual had non-western culture backgrounds.
Who would have thought ?

What do Republicans care about how other people feel? Doesn't make any sense after they want to force a woman to have an unwanted baby and then do nothing to help her. They cut veterans benefits, try to stop people from health care and want to end school lunches. They don't actually care about how anyone feels. They just think pretending to be sympathetic scores them political points. But it's like crying without tears.

I don't mind any of those things when it comes to my own people in my own country, but I don't feel any sense of obligation to help these immigrants. I think it should be up to their neighboring Arab countries to take them in and provide for them. With approximately 35% of our own people collecting some kind of welfare benefits, I would say they come first and we really cannot afford to take on any more immigrants at our own expense.

You have been posting this shit for a while now. Pure bullshit.

Let me clue you in asshole. This country was always supposed to be about debate. We were always suppose to have opposing sides. That is the essence as to importance of freedom of speech.

Let me clue you in more. Bipartisan shit that the establishment politicians cry about is them pushing for a ONE PARTY SYSTEM. A one party system means we the people get screwed since our elected representatives no longer represent us. They will not call it a one party system cause they can't. They use "bipartisan. " You think I back these fucking establishment republicans like Mitch Blowconnell? I don't.

You think standing on the fence and not backing your side is admirable? It isn't.

I have more respect for the dumb left as misguided as they all are since they defend their stupid socialist side.

Do not listen to this shit. Know this, whenever the two sides stop opposing each other, the American people get fucked.

very thinly veiled one-sided attack. as usual.
Maybe you could move out of the partisan vacuum for just a moment and provide a thoughtful response.

Seems to me this is a pretty serious situation.
.
yeah, yeah. everyone else is the partisan.
Don't want to do that, huh?

Okay, I'm certainly not expecting miracles here.
.

you expect a thoughtful response to your self-righteous finger pointing and blame assigning? you got what you wanted. partisan screeching. and from me, you got a reality check by pointing out that you are in the middle of it, while pretending to be some non-partisan observer. fraud.

You seem to equate "debate" with the spin, distortion, deflection, denial, hyperbole and outright lies that we constantly see here and in public political discourse.

Not to mention personal insults and name-calling.

I don't. I don't think it's necessary, and I think it hurts debate.

That's where we disagree, I suspect.

IF there are so MANY moderate Muslims why don't they police their own extremists?? Could it be the Muslim population are in agreement with the "militants"??
The vast majority of the worlds violence comes from Muslim countries, their Qur'an is obviously teaching these behaviors.

Exactly, you think anyone defending this would want to go to any of these Muslim countries if they were a Refugee? Maybe they should go they are loving them more than this country or the people in it. I saw a poll today nearly 70% of the people is AGAINST allowing them in here. but instead we get threads on how Republicans are fearful of others around the world and see some stupid clash of civilizations. it was the dumbest thing I've ever seen. that is as partisan as one can get

... their Qur'an is obviously teaching these behaviors.
Whatever that book says, it's being radicalized in certain mosques. Seems to me that's where much of the hatred is pushed.
.

Certain mosques, certain families, certain communities, certain sites online, certain viewpoints . . . There is just no way that we can possibly determine the moderates from the extremists. We can try to vet them, but I am very skeptical about that process since I'm quite sure that a lot of these people are going to be without a paper trail of any kind. Syria. This is a third world country we are talking about, after all. It's not like "record keeping" is one of their great concerns. Lol.

Yeah, this is a long term problem. We need to find some key pressure points and start applying it now.

And that is your ignorant opinion and nothing else

I'm a conservative, not a partisan. To only see partisanship means somebody isn't paying attention and trying to strut around on their high horse.
Or it could mean that person has a better grasp on the big picture than those who are only interested in their side of the story.
.
I hear the other side every day, like everybody else. You are no Prima Dona, get over yourself.

First of all do you really think they give a crap what Trump has to say? It seems that a good majority of Americans don't give a crap why would some ME jihadist? Using the train of thought that there is a PR agent sitting in a bunker in Syria monitoring US news to inflame their followers seems to me to be nothing more then blame America first BS.

What might bother them is sitting in a dinner having a snack and in the window comes a predator drone, almost anywhere in the ME, American friend or foe.

What might bolster their morale is for the US to pull out if Iraq and claim defeat in Afghanistan. Yeah I am pretty sure they like seeing us on the run.

What might be a great propaganda item is the rhetoric of the American left. Worked for the North Vietnamese and I am thinking that isn't changing.
