Our New Speaker Thinks the Earth is 6,000 Years Old

Yes
Because it was Democrats who turned on Kevin McCarthy
I'm sure the democrats would love to have McCarthy back.
They at least could manipulate him. What was it, 7-8 republicans wanted him gone?
The democrats could have stopped them. Instead , they pointed the gun and shot themselves in the foot.
Deal with it. :eusa_whistle:

A true theocrat, that close to the Oval Office.

Evidently we haven't learned from the Middle East.
As opposed to everything sprang from primordial stew that just was nobody knows how and then here we are.....and they call it science

Why?
If McCarthy was Bipartisan, maybe he would be worth saving

Would Republicans have saved Pelosi under those conditions?

Pelosi wasn't bipartisan, she never gave up anything.
McCarthy is a RINO. Now the dems will feel the pressure that the pubs felt with pelosi.

Like I said, the democrats shot themselves in the foot.

A RINO because he wouldn’t shut down the Government?
:laughing0301:

Republicans shot themselves in the foot by selecting another Dickless Speaker

WTF? How about McCarthy caving to the spending. :auiqs.jpg: sheesh.
So Johnson is dickless huh? Hold on to your crotch, RW.
Watch his right cross, because he's kinda fast. :smoke:

Yes. Science is curious. Science admit it doesn't know things. Science makes mistakes. Science doesn't claim to have the answer to the existence of everything, like religion does.

He never said that. Left wing spin created the issue from a ten year old case he litigated. You can count on Soros investigators digging up more spin like this in the near future.

I'm sure that's your perception, given your ideology.

Whatever you'd like.

That's your whole theory dude .. inconvenient as always
I support your right to believe what you want, and don't attack you for it. If you actually believe it.

Fortunately, I don't expect you to behave in kind. That's just how you folks are.

Well, this is reassuring.

The new Speaker appears to believe that the Earth is 6,000 years old.

Before arriving in Washington less than a decade ago, House Speaker Mike Johnson, a deeply religious Christian, was a legal crusader associated with a fringe evangelical movement called “young Earth creationism,” based on a literal reading of the Bible’s Book of Genesis that posits the Earth is only several thousand years old.
In the mere hours since Johnson was elected speaker Wednesday, he hadn’t had to address his views on creationism and evolution. But his close ties to a leader of the creationist movement and his past legal work — on behalf of the Ark Encounter creationist theme park, where children can learn that dinosaurs were passengers on Noah’s Ark — seem to suggest that he’s also personally aligned with these beliefs.

“The Ark Encounter is one way to bring people to this recognition of the truth, that what we read in the Bible are actual historical events,” Johnson said in a 2021 interview with Ark Encounter founder Ken Ham while guest-hosting the radio showof Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, an evangelical activist group.

Hey Toro do you have an actual quote from Johnson?

No?

Thread fail.

You will believe anything your handlers tell you to believe. :auiqs.jpg:

Argue about religion or science all you want., My displeasure is his wants regarding SOCIAL SECURITY cuts and raising the age limit.
Cutting Medicare and raising the age limit.
