The family of the Australian woman murdered by Minneapolis police want answers as to why she was killed.

Sadly, those answers are going to be difficult, if not impossible to come by, given the freedom to kill police in the U.S. have recently been given. Even when video proves the officer(s) had no justification to draw their weapons, the people they kill are deemed guilty and deserving immediate execution by the cop(s), either by juries (if the killing is even prosecuted), or the police administrators.
This case is an excellent example of why people accustomed to living in a civilized society must avoid repressive and violent cultures like that in the United States. Countries ruled by oppressive,conservative governments are growing increasingly primitive and value human life less and less. The dangers in such countries, where uncontrolled violence is rampant by both the criminal element and by those in what can laughably be called “law enforcement”, are not for those visitors who expect the police to protect and serve the general public.
This incident should serve as a cautionary reminder to those who might want to visit the U.S., or some other destabilized nation ruled by primitives.
