There is a funeral home in my city that does well with pet funerals. They'll do cremations, post online obituaries, and have a memorial service if you really want. Now I love my pets, but...

That's a nice thought, but as a kid we would always bury our own pets. In my back yard is a mound with a big stone on it. That is where we buried a dog that passed away probably 25+ years ago.
