PINO trump just pardoned kkk, alt right Arpaio

Scumbag sheriff never served time.

Scumbag sheriff never showed remorse.

Dumbass PINO never got recommendation from Pardon attorney or DOJ.

This is a PINO pardon of a lawless man who wore a badge.

Fuck this country and it's goddamn PINO.

We suck.

Here's the door. Don't let us keep you. No one here holding you back. Do us all a favor and leave. When it gets to the point that people start thinking that just enforcing our laws is such a horrible thing, we are far better off without you.

Trump, has just issued an executive pardon the most controversial racist in the country, Sheriff Joe O-Piggo!! We all know the guy wasn't gonna spend a day in jail, but the Duck, with his tiny little itching fingers had to throw his fellow Nazi following gang, their weekend bone....by signing shit!!

We have before us perhaps the most devastating weather headed to our coast, we just got off yet another horrible nightmare with Trump last week and here he goes again.....Lawd, will this guy ever start acting like a human being, instead of this pandering idiot to 39% of the country?

Latino's for Trump, ready to visit Arizona?
i thought you were the most controversial racist in the country?....

Well...he's POTUS, regardless. Some of y'all are gonna have to deal with it..kinda like many had to deal with Obama for 8 years. It was not pleasant, but...it had to be done. Same thing.

No, Gracie its not.

And you know it.

Every single one of you RWNJs KNOWS that pino trump is NOT doing any of what he said he would and you also know he has attacked every single thing you RWNJs SAY you support and care about.

Military, POWs, vets, children, handicapped, elderly, Gold Start families and on and on and on. Most of all, he has attacked the US Constitution - like pardoning arpaio as well as all the other things he done to weaken the constitution.

You are defending the indefensible.

How is pardoning Arpaio attacking the constitution? Many pardons have been granted in the past, it is a power granted by the constitution. That sounds like hyperbole.

Just dropping this here, from a well-regarded SCourt insider:

"In Burdick v United States the Supreme Court declared that the act of pardon constitutes an imputation of guilt and the acceptance of a pardon constitutes an admission of guilt.

So I don't want to hear another word about how ****ing innocent or persecuted Arpaio was.

By accepting this pardon, he has fully and freely confessed his guilt." - Safiel
Um, yeah the good sheriff is guilty of contempt of a very contemptible court.

Good on him and fuck George Soros

Interesting timing.

PINO is lying slime but now we know for sure that he embraces all things alt right and kkk.

The hypocrisy is galactic. "We love Arpaio because he's tough on crime and forces convicted criminals to serve hard time." "We don't want Arpaio to serve his time for being convicted of a crime."

Right wing whackland doesn't care about crime, isn't hard on anything except the chair straining under their two chins, and don't believe in law and order. Theirs is a cult, and if you are part of the cult it doesn't matter what you do you are not required to take responsibility for your actions.

There's certainly some truth in that. Arpaio has gotten a lot of press and praise for being tough on crime.
There is nothing contrary to 'law and order' regarding pardons.

Not really.

The issue here is, Arpaio would pick folks up on suspected violations. Hold them for ICE on violations. The Obama administration had a policy of not enforcing the law. He then instructed the Federal court to hold him in contempt for not upholding his interpretation of not enforcing the Constitution. Arpaio had a different POV.

Not much more to it than that. It's really all just political.

Prosecution, defense rest their cases in Joe Arpaio's criminal contempt trial
Prosecution, defense rest their cases in Joe Arpaio's criminal contempt trial

Defense witnesses testify

The defense moved through its case quickly. Its most notable witnesses Thursday included a Border Patrol agent and former lieutenant of the agency’s immigration unit.

One of the cornerstones of Arpaio’s defense was that it was federal agents who instructed deputies to detain immigrants in the country without authorization, to be turned over to ICE or the Border Patrol.

Defense attorneys said Snow’s order wasn’t clear enough if his intent was to stop correspondence with Border Patrol.

Border Patrol Agent Salvador Hernandez testified that he had, in fact, instructed sheriff’s deputies to bring such individuals to the Ajo checkpoint. When federal prosecutor Simon Cataldo attempted to suggest that this action was actually a favor to the Sheriff’s Office, Hernandez pushed back, saying, “It’s our job … it doesn’t matter what agency it is.”

Prosecution’s response
The emails indicate that Sousa and Sgt. Brett Palmer spoke to Casey several times about how the injunction would affect operations. Sousa instructed Palmer to create hypothetical scenarios that would serve as training exercises for the troops.

The training scenarios indicate Palmer had a good grasp on the idea.

In one of these scenarios, a hypothetical deputy comes across an individual whom he believes to be living in the country unlawfully. There was, however, no indication he was committing a crime.

“DO NOT DETAIN” the scenario stated in all caps.

Former Sheriff Joe Arpaio wants to bar victims of immigration patrols from testifying at contempt trial
Arpaio has acknowledged prolonging his immigration patrols, but he insists his defiance wasn't intentional. The 84-year-old, if convicted, could face up to six months in jail.

Prolonging the patrols fueled an increase in taxpayer-funded legal costs in the profiling case and is believed to have contributed to the Republican lawman's election loss in November to Democrat Paul Penzone after 24 years in office.

Seems the only crime Apraio is guilty of is enforcing the law in a lawless nation. . .

We have a long rich history of being very selective of which laws we enforce.

Oh, of course not. My comment was not about law and order, but Arpaio's reputation as being tough on crime and criminals. Remember the tent city jail? I recall a number of people praising Arpaio because he didn't coddle criminals, he punished them. In this case, Arpaio was convicted of a crime, and did not have to face punishment. It's sort of the opposite of what made him popular with some people.

The pardon is a perfectly legal and legitimate function of the presidency.
