Police wearing body cameras kill man armed with 3-foot sword

Whats the outrage? He came at cops w a sword.

Only issue...STOP calling cops for mental patients. They arent doctors.

They didn't...they called EMS. EMS called police when the dude went nuts.

Again...dont call cops. EMS are medical workers. Call dept of mental health. Or a counselor.

Cops arent doctoers.

and when this guy decides to ginsu whoever you call to "talk him down"?

The violently mentally ill need to be treated as such. If you can subdue, fine, if not, the lives of the people trying to help them matter more.

He was armed, Tazer didnt work, he acted in a threatening manner. Remember the cops were only called in after the EMT's realized they couldn't handle him.

Cops are going to the gun too soon. There is no doubt about that.

Now, that doesn't mean the shootings aren't justified, this one certainly appears to be; but I say again we have unqualified cops out there who are going to the gun too soon.
