it's a natural phenomenon for maverick rich people to try to lead the country in the direction they want.

The USA has been taken over by a Socialist cabal , no one rises through the ranks without their blessing.

Everything Trump is talking about should have been attempted 30 years ago.

I hope the Republicans never go back to their wishy-washy playbook.

I hope the day comes when the country goes back to constitutionalism , and it turns so "radical" libertarian , that Trump ends up looking like a moderate.

Trump is a Democratic Shill and when he loses in November you will deny this three times and by 2020 claim he was too Liberal while endorsing Alec Baldwin and claiming Baldwin has seen the light!

Not being a big fan of professional politicians, I can certainly understand the draw of the non-politician.

And not being a fan of PC, I can certainly understand the draw of a person who's not afraid to ignore contrived barriers.

But all this can be done with dignity, with intelligence, and with an articulate, thoughtful, positive nature.

The messenger here is so bad, I worry that he's ruining the prospects of any outsider for a generation or two.

Fortunately, what you and others on the ridiculous right want to see happen will never come to pass.

And after the disaster that is Trump we’ll not see amateurs pretending to be ‘politicians’ again.

Nonsense.

The GOP has been taken over by liars and cowards, this being one of many examples.

No, this is actually historic. Your grandchildren may be learning about this race in school someday.

I think we are all just fed up; not just us on the right, but the left as well. Trump won the nomination on the right and Sanders' wasn't too far off the mark on the left. People are screaming for change and not baby kissing politics that we get every election.

I'm so sick of the government telling us what they are going to do for me. Do you want to do something for me? GTF out of my life. The less government in my life the better. But no. Now we are virtually being forced to by healthcare insurance, forced to send our children to public schools where weirdos are permitted to go to female restrooms and showers with our daughters. States forced to accept marriages they voted not to respect.

As the old saying goes, with friends like that, who needs enemies? And let me ask: do you think we are socially better off today than we were 8 years ago or worse?

Total garbage.

Nearly every member of the House is standing for election this fall. And I think every member of the Senate won their primary. If people were upset that would not happen.

The GOP voters were amused by Trump and they voted for someone who promised them no taxes, that everything would be “terrific” and absolutely no sacrifice. In no way did he “tell it like it is”. What he did do was strike a chord of easier time with old white folks who remember some bygone greatness and promise to restore that while giving no details on how to do it.

Oh, I think we're clearly in decay culturally. But I have a different take on this stuff. Let me try to explain it without getting TOO boring.

I'm in the financial industry. One of the less enjoyable parts of my profession is that I'm occasionally (maybe once or twice a year) asked to go into a malfunctioning/failing company to figure out what the fucking problem is. They're expecting it's structural or fiscal.

I can tell you, easily, at least 80% of the time it's a breakdown in human communication somewhere. People's egos have gotten in the way and some group or silo or division is no longer communicating well with another, and stupid little factions have arisen. And it deteriorates QUICKLY. Suddenly the "enemy" is no longer the competition, it's another area of the company. And, of course, the company suffers as a whole.

So what's best for the company has taken a back seat to ego and beating the other guy. My team always has to win, always, no matter what.

Sound familiar?

Nobody was born a politician. Everybody who aspires to be a politician starts out as a non-politician.

The lowest start out as hoping to be elected dog catcher. The best start out aiming for the highest office.

When they reach their required level of corruption, at that point they become "politicians", the station in life you so admire. They screw you, left or right, yet you worship them and denigrate someone who is ready to take a substantial pay cut in order to take on a job that requires honesty and integrity and strength and character and heart, rather than "political" experience.

You get the government you deserve and you get the President you deserve.

Actually it does, but probably not in the way you think.

I'm a truck driver and my entire day is spent with trying to clarify communications. I go to make a pickup only to be told my load won't be ready for another 3 hours. I get back to my dispatcher and he tells me it was supposed to be ready an hour ago; who did I talk to? So I run back and explain what my dispatcher told me and get the shippers name. The shipper runs back to the office to pass the word to them. They come back and tell me that so-and-so emailed my employer. I call my employer and he double checks his mail claiming he never got such a mail. It goes on and on and on.

About two months ago I drove 120 miles to Columbus to make a delivery. They told me the people who I was delivering to moved, but nobody told us. Long story short, I had to drive back another 100 miles to where the company moved to. All because of lack of communications.

These communication gaps are not just time consuming, but costly to a company as well. If I have to sit and wait for a load for two hours that was supposed to be ready, my employer charges for the time I have to wait. Same thing when somebody screws up where a delivery or pickup was to take place and I have to go somewhere else entirely to make the pickup or delivery.

Um, dude, Trump is a liberals liberal. Look who holds the important spots in his campaign. Rudimentary Julianne, Chris "crispy cream" Christy both major proponents of Amnesty, an idea Trump is warming up to and big time gun banners. You will see if he wins.

Oh, and Hil-Liar is giving details? Did you check out her website with the laundry list of what "she says" she's going to accomplish?

Now as far as the Congress and Senate goes, were you asleep during the last two mid-term elections? I think those elections pretty much showed how upset and tired voters were of the same ole garbage. Republicans not only gained a lot of seats in those two chambers, but across the country, Republican Governors and state offices had huge successes as well.

But keep thinking about those old white Republicans dying off as your side has been claiming for over 30 years now. It's only happening in your wishful thinking dreams.

This is sarcasm, right?

Trump put his name in for president six times.

He was made fun of every time.
