Like I said, every Christian has a sense for their purpose in life.You can start by pointing out any Christian who says they have nothing to live for.Go ask your mom what a generalization is.It's what happens when God is not part of their lives.

Yes, religion can be a good way to give people hope. However there are better ways, as even religious people can be lacking in hope.

Christianity made suicide immoral and a sin. Why would they need to do this if no Christian was going to commit suicide?
Sometimes people who are in a community, will find they don't need to commit suicide, and religion can give people this community. However that doesn't mean suicide doesn't happen.
Suicide is a mental disorder and a seperate topic. It is a sin because we have a purpose. Touché.
