Progressive Governance Dehumanizes The Population

Conservatives can't refute Progressivism, but they knock the hell of the Progressive Strawmen they construct.

In this thread, we have Progressives wanting to see everyone killed who doesn't agree with them.

How many bales of straw went into that one?

"Progressive Governance Dehumanizes The Population"

In fact, it's conservatives who have sought to dehumanize the American people – from conservatives defending segregation and discrimination during the 1950s, to conservatives defending bigotry and discrimination today, such as seeking to deny gay Americans their right to due process and women their right to privacy.

Denying citizens their rights is the ultimate act of dehumanization.

Indeed, for the last 60 years, as Americans subject to disadvantage worked to realize their comprehensive civil rights, it was conservatives who fought them every step of the way.

Again, the OP's premise is unmitigated idiocy, nothing more than a straw man fallacy and lies.

Ooo....let me do one!!!

The Progressive Legacy: "more than 60,000 Americans endured involuntary sterilization."
Social Origins of Eugenics

Progressive governance has worked out pretty well here

Proof that Progressives accept patently false ideas.

You're here aren't you? Conservatives wanted to keep the Asians out too, remember?

What are you talking about????

I'm a national treasure!

I hear you squealing.....demanding an education.....so, take notes:

1. W.E.B.DuBois had studied at the University of Berlin, and this itself was the almost universal among early progressives, who envied Bismarck’s welfare state, and Hegel’s philosophy. Hegel introduced a system for understanding the history of philosophy and the world itself, often described as a "progression in which each successive movement emerges as a resolution to the contradictions inherent in the preceding movement"
Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

2. The excesses of the European versions of fascism were mitigated by the specific history and culture of America, Jeffersonian individualism, heterogeneity of the population, but the central theme is still an all-encompassing state that centralizes power to perfect human nature by controlling every aspect of life., albeit at the loss of what had hitherfore been accepted as ‘inalienable human rights.’

The dichotomy that is today’s political reality is based on this retreat, as the American left simply flipped from the brown-shirt utopians to the red-flag utopians, parroting Stalin’s rhetoric: anything objectionable is fascist.
Goldberg

And the antithesis of Progressivism:
3. .In Thoreau’s On the duty of Civil Disobedience, he states: “ There will never be a really free and enlightened State until the State comes to recognize the individual as a higher and independent power, from which all of its own power and authority are derived.”

It was, and to this day is, Democrats behind first slavery, and now, segregation.

They can fool simpletons like you, who don't recognize that their words don't match their actions.

The OP is completely devoid of credibility, her threads have no merit, and she's a confirmed demagogue and liar.

Yup....I'm pretty willful.

Let's continue the beating which I'm gleefully administering to you....

...and put a face on 'PROGRESSIVES.'

The lovely face of a major PROGRESSIVE, and an icon to the Left....Margaret Sanger.

1. It was in 1939 that Sanger's larger vision for dealing with the reproductive practices of black Americans emerged. After the January 1939 merger of her Clinical Research Bureau and the ABCL to form the Birth Control Federation of America, Dr. Clarence J. Gamble was selected to become the BCFA regional director for the South. Dr. Gamble, of the soap-manufacturing Procter and Gamble company, was no newcomer to Sanger's organization. He had previously served as director at large to the predecessor ABCL.

2. Gamble lost no time and drew up a memorandum in November 1939 entitled "Suggestion for Negro Project." Acknowledging that black leaders might regard birth control as an extermination plot, he suggested that black leaders be place in positions where it would appear that they were in charge, as it was at an Atlanta conference.

3. Sanger answered Gamble on Dec. 10. 1939, agreeing with the assessment. She wrote: "We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten that idea out if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." In 1940, money for two "Negro Project" demonstration programs in southern states was donated by advertising magnate Albert D. Lasker and his wife, Mary. Know why this is significant?
From the OP:
...But the most salient difference between the two views is the acceptance of the slaughter of those who don't agree, or don't choose to follow their doctrines, with a shrug.

Looking at any of the totalitarian theories of leadership...and that includes Liberalism and Progressivism, and one can imagine their explanation as 'one must break some eggs to make an omelette.'

....especially if those are 'black' eggs, huh?

I love it when you show up shouting "lies...lies..." but you can never seem to find any.

You're quite the imbecile, but you serve my purpose.

Are you opposed to black people using birth control?

Seriously? Goddam you're one fucked up monkey.

This part is the very reason this country was founded. Government is supposed to work for us and answer to us.

Things have gotten to a point where people fear government and the politicians act as if they are emperors who need not answer to anyone.

We've lost the power of the people and it's now power of the government and we now have to plead with them to keep the very rights, the inalienable rights, that they exist to protect.

Sanger was anti-abortion, like you. Sanger never wanted to exterminate the 'Negro'.

A conservative court deciding that corporations were people and that money is free speech is what has caused that.

Progressivism = Bad governance?

Not to worry...

Progressives are now in a minority in both House and Senate...

And their tired old corrupt next-round standard bearer is not the shooo-in for the White House that they'd like to delude themselves into believing...

They've had their turn at-bat for a while...

Play-time's over, kiddies...

Time for the other guys to get a turn...

As early as it is in the day....this post of yours is far and away the most absurd lie of the day, and ....no matter what else, or who else, follows,

...you have staked your claim as the most practiced and inveterate liar on the board.

But...the abject absurdity of both lies might move you into the category of "Most Insane."

And what do you think the right's going to accomplish at the federal level?

Ban abortion? Kick gays out of the military? Get rid of the minimum wage? Implement a flat tax? Outlaw sodomy?

Progress always overcomes conservatism.

One can only hope that, in actuality, those 'other guys' are any different.

What do you dispute, specifically? Jabbering monkey noises may be a protest, but they are not a substantive rebuttal.
