The National Office considers that safeguards for employees are essential to build a competitive economy, create jobs and reduce inequalities. As the Congress resolution of the CFDT of 2014 affirms, it is the rise in quality of the productive model through innovation, competence, securing the paths of workers and quality of life at work which is the only way .
Faced with this situation, arbitrations and decisions taken at the highest level of the State appear more from undecipherable tactics than from political choices made in favor of social democracy.
This economic and political climate leads to a social exasperation expressed by the employees and the CFDT teams in the companies and the administrations: not enough sense given to the numerous reforms, weak commitments of the employers within the pact of responsibility and the CICE, And sometimes even the lack of loyalty of the employers' interlocutors.
It was in this context that the preliminary draft labor law was made public. A text that the CFDT considered inconsistent since it did not choose between a modern social democracy and an essentially liberal model.
