But, as long as we are, please explain, logically and rationally, how Trump was to blame for the shutdown when Trump backed the House funding bill, when Trump spent hours on the phone trying to get Senate Democrats to drop their filibuster and to let the bill get a regular vote, when Democrats were the ones who insisted on tying DACA to the budget in the first place, and when Senate Democrats blocked the funding bill with a filibuster.

The "millions" you claim are mostly seeking affirmation for their already held political opinions. The women marching want to be heard by a listening ear, and that affirms their decision to vote. Going to their rally's reinforce their will to vote when those in power listen to them and support them.

It comes down to this, is it rational for people to watch their lips, and not their feet; or is it rational to watch what is done, and not what has been promised?
