There is not a single credible source citing Russia is attacking ISIS. They are bombing the rebels that WE SUPPORTED.

Russia is NOT doing our dirty work. You can quote all the articles you want but nearly all of them, if not all of them, are citing Russian sources. Do YOU believe Russia?

Our own intelligence is reporting the opposite so whom do you choose to believe?

Did the 80's call you as well as Romney? Russia is NOT our ally.

Don't get me wrong, Putin has owned Obama's ass from get go but it's at the expense of America's prestige & reputation.

I didn't say "we" I said "I". And I am because I think that it is well proven that Muslims are mean nasty people who delight in the rape, murder, torture, sodomy, etc. of anyone who is not Muslim (along with quite a few that are). Republicans have a strong interest in inflating every national threat because it allows them to run elections on something besides tax cuts and deregulation for the billionaires who own government.

I don't see what the big surprise is here:

Putin said that he will support the 'legitimate' government...i.e. the Assad regime.
The reason why he's doing it at this time is because the Assad regime is on the verge of collapse.
'Moderate' rebels are the primary immediate threat to the Assad regime.
So, it could be expected that the Russians were going to start by bombing the moderates.

Supposedly, Putin has told Assad that he will have to compromise. (The only good thing so far).

What's needed now is for Assad and the Moderate rebels to have a ceasefire, and to negotiate a new government.

Then everyone can deal with ISIS.
