There were 57 democrat Senators who allowed Thomas onto the Supreme Court.

So was he really innocent and wrongly accused, or did democrats allow a rapist on the Supreme Court because he was a black man?

You're confusing your black guys. 57 was the number of states Obama thought there were. Not the number of Democrats in the minority during Thomas' confirmation hearing.

Pretty much all Republican nominees have a similar narrow vote of approval

One that did not was Judge Roberts who stabbed conservatives in the back with Obamacare.

There were two things to conclude.

1. the accusations against Thomas were laughable, that he made a few off color jokes

2. Anita Hill lied about being a Reagan appointee and a Republican


Clarence Thomas was smeared for being black and not being a Democrat.
