Let’s say this November, just for the sake of argument, that the Republicans maintain control of the Senate, and the House. Does that mean that the people have decided, and we have a solid and binding promise from the Democrats to vote for any legislation or nominations that Trump puts forth?

Because the people deciding would sort of mean, that the people decided and the Republicans maintained control in this scenario wouldn’t it? Or would it mean more resist trump and all that?

The argument will be that they had more seats to protect.

The GOP would same the same thing, of course.

For the wings, all that matters is beating the other side, no matter what excuses must be made.

The more positives Trump (and others) accomplish for the American people the more negative alt-left Democrats get, that's the scenario they seem fully committed to. Pragmatic Democrats are pretty well silenced..

The problem is not the party in control, it is the laws being passed. Contacting the Rep who are from your state is important and needed for if you don't speak up many laws can be passed that you hate, and it does not matter if you have a Party that you belong to the person in that office is suppose to be acting in your behalf not some org, or Super PAK. You as a voter is his life blood and you count. If you get no response then you need to get a new Rep in the office. My Senator has gotten to know me by name.

I think the more relevant question is, does it matter what America wants?

And the answer is .. no.

…or if Republicans retain the Senate but Democrats take the House.

Or Democrats win the popular vote in House races, but Republicans retain control of the House, as occurred in 2012 – likely to happen again this year.

There needs to be consensus as to what constitutes the people ‘deciding.’
