Quit Calling it a "Health Care" Bill ...

Trump States Most Likely to Be Affected by GOP Health Bill
May 4, 2017

CNN: “Looking at the states with the largest percentages of people under age 65 with pre-existing conditions, if the GOP’s high risk pool plan goes south it runs the risk of more adversely affecting those in states that voted for President Trump.”

“Of the 11 states in which 30% or more of the under-65 population has some sort of pre-existing condition, all 11 were won by Trump in 2016.”

^^^ & they are colored red for a reason.

It's really a rescue bill.

Rescuing the rich? Yes, we must think of the rich and the poor, poor corporations.
No, rescuing health care.

Obamacare was an unmitigated catastrophe. The only reason for opposition to it's repeal is Obama's legacy and it's certain unraveling.

How does this new thing lower healthcare costs? Won't there be less insured which increases costs?
The idea is to have health insurance, not just a card that says you do.

It was a pipe dream from the get-go.

You going to answer my question?

You're going to have to do a lot better than fake news.

CNN - LOL!

If it's such a good bill why did they have to pass it before the final text was released, and before the CBO could score it, hold zero public hearings on it, and exempt themselves from the new rules that allow states to waive essential benefits?

And, why is it opposed by every patient advocacy group and everyone in the health care industry??

Hint; It's because it's an abomination.
It's a waste of time sending it to the CBO. The CBO can not score a bill like this or the ACA with any accuracy what so ever. That was said by Obama and the dems back in 2010 and it's true today.
You just don't want to believe that the GOP can do a better job with a health insurance bill than the Democrats

We'll see how many are uninsured and if costs go down.

Costs are going up now and millions are still uninsured. The people that do have an Obama care card can't afford to use it. It's going to be real hard to argue against this bill; giving the state of Obamacare.

A senator and a congressman are employers. They employ their staff. They exempt themselves on the same grounds that your employer if he or she offers a health plan exempts themselves.

I wouldn't know. I neither read nor link Alex Jones, Breitbart nor the Gateway Pundit. They are more or less as reliable as CNN.

If costs continue to increase and we have fewer insured it will be quite easy. What in the bill will lower costs?

:banana:Pelosi is going to have a nervous breakdown right on camera!

i find the PR stunt at the whitehouse a bit amusing--- if the senate says ne'eh- not gonna get on board, then the house (R) will be looking even more ridiculous than they did today. they will also be going home & facing their constituents.

the (R) senators as well. then there is the CBO.

so it ain't quite over yet.
