You need to think. Backing into a large area is significantly easier (by design) than backing into a small parking space.
Conversely, steering a car into a parking space forward, thereby utilizing it's steering design, is significantly easier than the opposite. Compare the efforts and do the cumulative math.

I had the frame stiffened, the engine rebuilt by a company in Atlanta that rebuilds engines for NASCAR. Bored out to 421 from 389, full race cam, boosted compression, the tri-power, custom tuned exhaust, heavy duty 4-speed transmission, beefed up rear end. Total re-do on the interior with all original red. Lots more but I do LOVE driving that car.
