Horse crap. Bread is $1.99 a loaf; hamburger, $2.49 to $3.99 a pound.

Where are you shopping?

the question is where are you? Would love to see those type prices.

Jakematters doesn't shop. He gets his nutrients from huffing sterno and drinking vodka out of a plastic bottle.

You can get hamburger on sale for $3.99

Fresh 93% Lean Ground Beef $3.99 lb at Vons | Grocerate

But notice it says "Regular price $5.99"

Fakey Jake is a fraud - always has been.

Average retail food and energy prices, U.S. city average and Midwest region

Prices are increasing while average workers salaries have stagnated.

It's the decline of the middle class that Obummer wants to continue then bitch about only the poor and rich in society

What a worthless POS

Boneless chicken breast, 3.19 not on sale?

Really?

Granted that I live in the Peoples Republic, but add a $1.50 to even get close - that would be a really good sale price.

yeah... I made all those prices up.

:cuckoo:

Uncensored will tell you he is an economist also. Loser dude. You give him the proof, and he goes, "but . . .

What policies would those be? The only thing that has happened under Obama is having the fed buy up bonds and print money we got a preview of what will happen to the market when that ends they dropped like a rock when that was merely hinted at a few weeks ago. Keep trying for tha original thought.

Hey, printing money makes free money.

It's not like hamburger has gone from $1.99 to $5.99 a pound since Obama took office. Or that bread went from $2.29 to $4.79 a loaf. You know, due to the devaluation of currency due to flooding the market with fiat currency...

Well okay, the cost of food has more than doubled, but the nourishment of your soul by worshiping Obama more than makes up for it, right?
Don't forget gas prices which were here at least under two dollars a gallon when Obama was sworn in it's now $3.65 before the Obama supporters tell me Presidents don't control gas prices which is true ask yourself did you feel that way with high gas prices under Bush.

Don't forget gas prices which were here at least under two dollars a gallon when Obama was sworn
. . . were the result of the Bush-induced Great Recession.

You might want to recheck the timeline on that gas prices hit there high in the Summer of 08 then began dropping they were below $2.00 dollars a gallon before the economic meltdown ever started. If it was the great meltdown that caused gas prices to drop as you say well the meltdown continued well into Obama's first year in office so wouldn't that have caused gas prices to continue to fall instead of go back up?

. . . they dropped because of the Bush-induced Great Recession, bub, that lasted well into Obama's first term.

There was no demand because folks were losing their jobs right and left.

The fact that energy prices are high is that the economy has rebounded.

Unfortunately, the lower 50%, of all races, are still hurting, because many of the yo yos refuse to get re-educated.

And, even more unfortunately, tens of millions can't re-educate or are too old or otherwise affected that re-education can't fix.

The truth is sometimes hard to swallow.

Blackhawk, you were the one who stated the obvious but suggested it was Obama's fault.

You hoist yourself on your own petard.

Gas prices have a tendency to fall in the worst recession in U.S. history, with 8 million thrown out of work.....

Thanks to the Republicans

:(

I would say intelligence is not your strong suit by why state the obvious.

A 50% market crash and the worst recession in U.S. history helped Bush and Republicans reduce gas prices from $4.50 to $1.85 in 2007.

Motorist flooded the GOP with thank you notes ....
