Are you confused about the Rapture of the church?
"Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe" ... If you are saved you owe nothing, Jesus paid it all. If you had to go through the Tribulation, then that says that the price that God paid was not enough.
What difference does it make whether you believe in the pre, post, mid, or pan position of tribulation? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is coming back? Do you believe that He could come today? If you do then you are Pre-tribulational in your belief. If He could not come back and Rapture His bride, the church, for 3 ½ or 7 years then He could not come back today could He?
The only doctrine in the Bible that is proven through out the bible is the imminency of Jesus return. This means Jesus could come back at any moment. The Pre-Tribulational view of the Rapture of the church is the only one consistent with the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
The Bible clearly teaches that the Christian waits in hope of the return of Jesus Christ. We are to be constantly watching for His return, this means He could come tonight. If we have to wait for three and a half years or seven years of tribulation to occur, then there is no imminency to Jesus return. JVI

The Holy Spirit's witness tells Christians that Jesus is coming soon for His Church.
The Holy Spirit operating in true believers has made it known to many that Jesus is coming soon. There never before in history has been huge numbers of Holy Spirit inspired teachings, songs, books, and movies informing us about the soon return of Jesus. Some evangelical Christians who downplay the possibility that the Holy Spirit is behind the awareness in some Christians that Jesus is coming soon, say that they know they are saved by the witness of His Spirit, or that God told them to take this job, or move here, or to go to this church or do this ministry. Why is it then so hard for them to accept that God would also tell His own people that He is about to fulfill the prophecies of His second advent? Especially since He made it clear that He would do just that to those that are faithful watching.
It is also important to note that the majority of Christians who claim a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and who are doing works led by His Spirit are also the ones who loudly proclaim His imminent return. While on the other hand, the majority of those who are Christians by tradition, and who think that the Christian life is fulfilled through Sunday ritual, rote observances, mega church entertainment services, mystical feelings or through the humanistic efforts of man are the same ones who are downplaying His return.
Jesus made it clear in scripture that there would be those that would not be watching and waiting and that they would not know the time of His coming. Jesus said He would come as a thief to these people and then weeping and gnashing of teeth will be heard from those He left behind.
So which group today do you think the Spirit of God is really speaking through? 4 But, dear brothers, you are not in the dark about these things, and you won’t be surprised as by a thief when that day of the Lord comes. 5 For you are all children of the light and of the day, and do not belong to darkness and night. 6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Watch for his return and stay sober. 7 Night is the time for sleep and the time when people get drunk. 8 But let us who live in the light keep sober, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the happy hope of salvation.
9 For God has not chosen to pour out his anger upon us but to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ; 10 he died for us so that we can live with him forever, whether we are dead or alive at the time of his return. 11 So encourage each other to build each other up.
