Religious schools are a danger to children. Every school should be forced to teach that human rights come first and that religions are myths without evidence.

Religious freedom is not a human right! YOU SHOULD BE FORCED TO TEACH MY LIBERAL BULL SHIT, OR ELSE!

Human rights should come first ...

BECAUSE ....

Not everyone believes in or should be forced to believe in the same religious mythology. OTOH, human rights are and should be the same in all societies and cultures.

Having said that, she knew she was attending a backward and anti-education, anti-freedom school so this should not come as a surprise to her. Surely she saw this coming.

Trannysteve, I realize you identify with anything EXCEPT heterosexuality, but you really might want to consider using a different signature icon.

It's a religious school you ass pirate and the prom isn't a human right and religious righa are human rights or should kids be able to bring pork to Muslim schools?

Do you mean to tell me that a religious school in New York has taken a Traditional stance against the perverse, aberrant, deviant, unclean and sinful sexual practice known as homosexuality, and all its outward manifestations, including trans-genderism, and forbidden its students from demonstrating solidarity with such perversion at school functions, in order to prevent the 'normalizing' or 'legitimizing' or 'approving of' such abomination in a school context?

Don't know what an "ass pirate" is (LOL) but perhaps you missed where I wrote this:

Good for you for leaving your signature smilie off your post. Really, you don't have to advertise your availability in every single post. You might even want to save that for your fave gay porn sites.

They probably shouldn't have enrolled in a Religious school, then, yes?

Thank you for your expression of personal opinion concerning religion, and its impact upon education.

Locally, nationally, and worldwide, the numbers indicate that far more people disagree with your personal opinion regarding religion, than agree with it.

Others see such matters of progress, education and freedom much differently, in connection with the moral baseline that they derive from religious institutions and practices and beliefs.

A happy state of affairs.

When the prom comes around, he will be legally recognised as a male, therefore they will be an opposite sex couple.

The school can't complain.

I wonder if that's actually true.

Legally Male and Actually Male can probably be two different things.

And, from the vantage point of a Religious School... Legally Male and 'Morally' Male are probably two different things, as well.

The Law within the School being so-called God's Law rather than Man's Law, yes?

I highly doubt they go by Gods law - only when it suits them.
Hmmmmm... Not sure that's true either, but... given their charter, they can probably get away with just that, though, regardless.
