You are absolutely shameless. I don't care what he did, you once again show that death is nothing but a tool to exploit.
Funny how Mustang sees this as a cause for celebration. Anyone with a grain of sensibility wouldn't be celebrating at the fact some coward stole money and killed himself, or using it for political fodder.
We also had NINE WEEKS of the Sherif's department in Lake County trying to spin this even as evidence mounted that this was a suicide. When the County coroner said, "Hey, we think this might be a suicide", the Sheriff's department went after them full bore in the press for "disrespecting a hero".
Not to mention all the folks who got pulled over for 'DWB's" because Gliniewicz described one of his imaginary attackers as black.
The right was happy to hug Gliniewicz as part of their "War on Police" narrative. Now you own him.
do you have any proof of what you are saying? I don't remember anyone saying that those he was chasing were black kids.
Go back, read what I said, and then have someone who can structure a sentence explain it to you.
Back in early September, Fox Lake Police Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz was reportedly killed in the line of duty while chasing 3 suspicious men into a swampy area . His death resulted in an outpouring of sympathy, support, and yes, outrage, as well.
Almost predictably, conservatives used the death to assail Democrats for not adequately supporting police officers in the aftermath of several police shootings of unarmed suspects. His death was also used by conservatives to defend everything from less restrictive gun rights to lambast movements like "Black Lives Matter."
Well, apparently, the truth is something else entirely. Read on:
[...after an intense and costly manhunt for three phantom suspects came up empty, investigators realized he (Lt. Gliniewicz) was something else: A small-time embezzler, who meticulously staged his death to make it look like he was slain in the line of duty.
In fact, the 30-year police veteran killed himself on Sept. 1 because his theft of thousands of dollars from a youth program was about to be exposed, authorities revealed Wednesday.]
'Hero' officer staged suicide, embezzled from youth program
Will conservatives apologize for politicizing his death?
At least.Well, at least the crooked psycho cop didn't kill any unarmed blacks.
ExactlyAnd for the record, I'm not defending him. I'm attacking Mustang for engaging in the entirely predictable liberal behavior of using death as a political tool, even if to paint police in a bad light.
How does this NOT put the police in a bad light?
Forget about Gliniewicz's corruption, which apparently went on for years without anyone calling him on it.

What did his story have to do with this quote from you?: "So did all the wingnuts who wanted to change the subject from "Police killing unarmed black kids" to " Some black guy killed a cop."

I read this article which decried blaming BLM for the murder of Charles Gliniewicz.
Now granted they did say in the title of article the murder of Charles Gliniewicz but the article itself never uses his name again and certainly does not blame BLM or a black man for his murder. What the article does talk about is the atmosphere in the country that BLM and the left wing liberals have created.
Melodie Gliniewicz, 51, turned herself in at the Lake County Sheriff's Office when she learned of the grand jury indictment, said Detective Christopher Covelli, a sheriff's office spokesman. She was taken to the county jail Wednesday afternoon. Her bond was set at $50,000. Her husband, Fox Lake Police Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz, died Sept. 1. Authorities said he shot himself because he feared discovery of embezzlement from the Fox Lake Police Explorer Post. The officer's death touched off a manhunt involving hundreds of officers and raised fears that several killers were on the loose in northern Illinois. Joe Gliniewicz was initially hailed as a community hero and praised for his work with the youth program. At the time, Melodie Gliniewicz's tearfully told hundreds of people gathered at a candlelight vigil that Gliniewicz had been her "hero' and her "rock."
Two months after Gliniewicz' death, authorities announced that he had killed himself after embezzling from the village's Police Explorer program for seven years, prompting tough questions about why it had taken so long to reach that conclusion. The Lake County State's Attorney's office said in announcing the indictment of Melodie Gliniewicz that money from the police explorer's account was used for expenses including more than 400 restaurant charges, personal payments to a Starbucks and a local theater as well as a trip to Hawaii. "The investigation revealed money was withdrawn from the police explorer account over the course of several years," Lake County Undersheriff Ray Rose said. Melodie Gliniewicz was indicted on charges of money laundering and disbursing charitable funds without authority and for personal benefit.

Joe Gliniewicz had run the Explorer program for teens interested in possible careers in law enforcement. Authorities said Melodie Gliniewicz served as an adviser to the Explorer Post and had a fiduciary role with the program's finances. In November, an official with knowledge of the investigation provided to the media some of the text and Facebook messages exchanged between the officer and his family. In one message on April 14, a worried Joe Gliniewicz and his wife discussed whether someone would review the finances of the explorer program. "...maybe we need to hide the funds some how," Melodie Gliniewicz said in one of those messages.
In a statement, attorneys for Melodie Gliniewicz vehemently denied that she took part in her husband's scheme. "Melodie is a victim of her husband's secret action and looks forward to her day in court to show the world her innocence," said the law firm of Kelleher & Buckley. Covelli said the couple's son, D.J. Gliniewicz, was not a suspect in the financial scheme and the son had "no idea the money was coming from this account." "Fox Lake, all of Lake County, and quite frankly the entire country have been through a mix of emotions throughout the Gliniewicz investigations," said Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran. "It is my hope the community can continue healing and rebuilding."
