Remember when Trump was attacking NATO? Thank your lucky stars he was fired.

Trump, the trash GOP, trash Trump supporters, Marjorie Greene, FOx news, all support Putin

Kinda like when you see the Hammer and Sickle flying at a Democratic party rally. You know the flag that's flown over the deaths of more than 100 million people.

Actually no. Bidens are clean Trumps are dirty,

The fat bastard is facing three Jan6 charges on top of so much criminal conduct it’s a crime he was not convicted in the Senate. Mitch missed his chance to be rid of the fat bastard once and for all and there never would have been a Jan6 Republican disgrace that caused Putin to miscalculate that Americans would never unite against his bloody designs against Liberty and democracy in the world.
You're trying to blame what Putin is doing now on Democrats failing to impeach Trump? That might be the dumbest post you've ever made, Notfooled!

Putin is doing what he's doing now because he viewed Joe Biden as weak. That has ZERO to do with Donald Trump!

NATO is the greatest enemy to Putin/Russia and by extension, communism. It's no wonder republicans are so against it.
Trump strengthened NATO, Krichton. Trump gave defensive weapons to the Ukraine when Obama and Biden gave them blankets. Where exactly are you getting the idea that Republicans are against NATO? Because they agreed with Trump that NATO countries that weren't fulfilling their promised levels of investment in defense should do what they said they would? Putin viewed the US as weak and thought Europe was now so dependent on Russian oil and natural gas that they'd look the other way while he attacked Ukraine. That's on Biden and HIS policies...not on the Republicans!

Fine. Produce proof of the relationships and the RW extremist groups! Put up or shut up!

Then I'll teach you all about real relationships between the democrats, the US government, G. Soros and the corrupt Ukrainian government.
You're a basket case. Only Quasar is more lost.

What a clusterfuck our response to this invasion would be if Putin's BFF was still in Washington. The world breathes a sigh of relief, along with educated and sensible Americans.

BRUSSELS — The Dutch are sending rocket launchers for air defense. The Estonians are sending Javelin antitank missiles. The Poles and the Latvians are sending Stinger surface-to-air missiles. The Czechs are sending machine guns, sniper rifles, pistols and ammunition.

Even formerly neutral countries like Sweden and Finland are sending weapons. And Germany, long allergic to sending weapons into conflict zones, is sending Stingers as well as other shoulder-launched rockets.

In all, about 20 countries — most members of NATO and the European Union, but not all — are funneling arms into Ukraine to fight off Russian invaders and arm an insurgency, if the war comes to that.

At the same time, NATO is moving military equipment and as many as 22,000 more troops into member states bordering Russia and Belarus, to reassure them and enhance deterrence.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has brought European countries together as never before, minds concentrated by the larger threat to European security presented by the Russia of President Vladimir V. Putin.

“European security and defense has evolved more in the last six days than in the last two decades,” Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Union’s executive arm, asserted in a speech to the European Parliament on Tuesday. Brussels has moved to “Europeanize” the efforts of member states to aid Ukraine with weapons and money and put down a marker for the bloc as a significant military actor.

But whether European weaponry will continue to reach the Ukrainian battlefield in time to make a difference is far from certain. However proud Brussels is of its effort, it is a strategy that risks encouraging a wider war and possible retaliation from Mr. Putin. The rush of lethal military aid into Ukraine from Poland, a member of NATO, aims, after all, to kill Russian soldiers.

Mr. Putin already sees NATO as committed to threaten or even destroy Russia through its support for Ukraine, as he has repeated in his recent speeches, even as he has raised the nuclear alert of his own forces to warn Europe and the United States of the risks of interference.

DUMMY!
First of all do you know what NATO members are suppose to do?
NATO set a target for member states to spend 2% of gross domestic product on defense in 2006. At the 2014 Wales Summit, member states recommitted to spending
Trump said the NATO countries weren't spending their 2%!
This is the headline of the above article:

NATO Allies Now Spend $50 Billion More on Defense Than in 2016

In 2016, only four NATO members (including the U.S.) met the benchmark to spend 2% of GDP on defense, and only nine spent 20% of defense budgets on equipment purchases.

Last week, NATO announced that in 2020, 10 countries will spend at least 2% of gross domestic product on defense:
  • Estonia (2.38%)
  • France (2.11%)
  • Greece (2.58%)
  • Latvia (2.32%)
  • Lithuania (2.28%)
  • Norway (2.03%)
  • Poland (2.30%)
  • Romania (2.38%)
  • United Kingdom (2.43%)
  • United States (3.87%)
So DUMMY... Trump encouraged these countries to spend their committed defense spending to 2% of GDP and
the above countries DID!

Mitch couid have certainly prevented Jan6 had he told his Senate Republicans it was correct to convict. - - - Putin misread Jan6 by thinking such violent anti-democratic sentiment contained sufficient pro-Putin and anti-Biden rage in America that Biden couid never rally Americans against his plans to militarily seize Ukraine without his friendly orange face and pushy grabbing hands in the White House.

Putin was wrong - the vast majority of Americans agree with tough US sanctions through a United European Union.

The tough sanctions Biden prepared for in case Putin went in to take Kiev are not the result or tactics of a weak man.

Putin got it wrong. Trump said Putin was a genius. There are two fools who were in lockstep when Putin launched the invasion. They are Putin and Trump. Geniuses do not miscalculate the other side when starting an European war all on their own.
Biden can't walk...he shuffles!

Another miscalculation by Putin if that was the case which it was not. - - - He should know by now that FDR helped Russia defeat the Nazis in World War II - All the while in a wheelchair - he could not shuffle. You are an asshole. Oldestyle No other way to put it. FUCK you.

NATO doesn't overthrow political regimes. They sure as hell aren't going to attack Russia!

So why do Trump advisers like General Michael Flynn agree with PUTIN ON THAT.

Putin has already made the calculation that Europe now needs Russian natural gas and will cave on sanctions after a brief display of saber rattling. He's been able to make that calculation because Joe Biden let the US production of natural gas fall off dramatically so that we no longer can provide what Europe needs! Biden's pandering to the anti fossil fuel crowd has driven up the price of oil and natural gas in the US but it's also given Putin the leverage he needs to pull a stunt like invading the Ukraine!

How is trumps “genius” doing on that miscalculation

General Flynn is right.

This MAGA moron Like most I believe argue that Biden was being too tough on poor little aggrieved Putin for involving the New World in the old world’s border affairs. Flynn - an influential pro-Putin military adviser to Trump.

Hey DUMMY, it was not about SPENDING, it was a PUBLIC attack on our alliance, with the intent to WEAKEN it on the international stage, and thus impress his BFF Putin.

Putin is doing what he's doing now because he viewed Joe Biden as weak.

No. Putin believes he is De-Nazifying Ukraine. He is insane. He is no different than George Bush in March 2003. It has nothing to do with the perception that Joe Biden is weak. Bush miscalculated what US power could do in Iraq. Putin has miscalculated what Russian power can do in Ukraine big time. Trump is wrong. Geniuses do not miscalculate Starting a war.
Putin “was counting on very little resistance from Ukraine, he had no respect for Zelenskyy, he thought the United States after Afghanistan had no stomach."
"Europe he also had contempt for, particularly Germany," he continued. "So he underestimated his opposition, overestimated the capability of his own forces.

And then there is this - The Russian equivalent of what Mashmont wants TRUMP to do to America::
”According to Russian Orthodox bishop Patriarch Kirill, a supporter of Putin's invasion, "Let God save the Russian soil. When I say Russian, I use an ancient expression from the chronicles of where Russian soil started, which includes the Ukraine and Belarus. God forbid that the evil forces that have always fought against the unity of Russia and the Russian church get the upper hand in brotherly Ukraine.”
According to the journalist, former U.S. National Security Council director Fiona Hill nailed it when she said of Putin that he is "...increasingly operating emotionally. It’s reestablishing dominance over what Russia sees as the Russian Imperium. We’re treading back through old historical patterns that we said that we would never permit to happen again.”
"The Imperial Kremlin has two masters, one temporal, the other spiritual. The tsar and the Russian Patriarch of All Moscow and All Rus. The tsar and his hierophant-in-chief worked and lived and ruled in tandem. 'There’s no difference between the secular realm and the spiritual realm,' explains the Byzantine and Russian historian Henry Hopwood-Phillips. 'The tsar and the patriarch are meant to occupy the same body and the same mystical mind. That’s the anvil of Russia’s domestic Byzantine statecraft,'" Copetas contributed, "And Putin’s hammer is wielded by God."
Putin’s God connection in America through traitor Michel Fkynn:

“While the world looks on in horror as Russia's invasion of Ukraine unfolds,” Butler observes in her op-ed, “one group has been praising Russian President Vladimir Putin. It turns out Putin has a fan base in America’s right-leaning evangelical politicians and pundits.”

Butler continues, “At this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference, which wrapped up over the weekend, Lauren Witzke, a GOP candidate for the Senate in Delaware, said: ‘Here’s the deal. Russia is a Christian nationalist nation. They’re actually Russian Orthodox.... I identify more with Putin’s Christian values than I do with Joe Biden

Yeah, Trump would probably be sending the hospital ships over to the Ukraine to treat wounded Russian soldiers at this point.

We dodged a big time bullet by getting rid of the blob.

God, you're an idiot! What does Jan. 6th have to do with Putin feeling emboldened to attack Ukraine under a totally different President? Biden was never "tough" on anyone! He thinks he can use diplomatic means to sway Putin and Putin sees that as weakness. If Biden really wanted to be tough on Putin he'd embargo Russian oil and natural gas but he's too spineless to do so! That's a corner Biden has painted himself into after bowing to the far left and hamstringing our own oil and natural gas production.

Trump was the US President who sent the weapons to Ukraine that have been used to wound and kill those Russians, Candy! All Obama and Biden ever sent them was blankets. Biden is finally sending them Stingers and anti tank weapons but that's only after practically every other nation in Europe is doing the same thing! Sleepy Joe isn't a leader...he's a follower.

Hey DUMMY, it was not about SPENDING, it was a PUBLIC attack on our alliance, with the intent to WEAKEN it on the international stage, and thus impress his BFF Putin.
So doing something that made the other members of NATO spend more on defense was an attempt to "WEAKEN" NATO? How do you arrive at that conclusion, Odanny? It's like 1 plus 1 = minus 7!

Show me where Michael Flynn ever said it was NATO's intention to overthrow Russia?

God, you're an idiot! What does Jan. 6th have to do with Putin feeling emboldened to attack Ukraine under a totally different President?
I explained it. It gave Putin a visual that the institution of American democracy is weak and that his autocracy is strong. And then his first meeting with Joe Biden he defended the anti-democracy rioters in these words:

This week, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov termed it a “persecution.”
“These are not looters or thieves, these people came with political requests,” Putin stated of the Trump rioters that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.

NATO is a corrupt throwback to WWI, where all the criminals try to gang up on each other.
Russia bore the brunt of WWII and was almost destroyed.
Over half the male population was wiped out, and they had trouble even procreating enough to recover.
The claim they threatened western Europe after WWII was just ridiculous propaganda.

Anyone looking at the crimes the Ukraine was committing, like abusing ethnic Russians, stealing oil, revealing weapons secrets to the west, trying to join NATO, breaking off negotiations, etc., and obviously Russia comes off as not only the good guy, but the only sane party.

Look at how stupid the western proposals are, like a "no-fly-zone".
The conflict is on the Russian border, so they have full home court advantages, while the US would have to try to set up temporary, remote, airbases that would be incredibly vulnerable.
A single thermobaric missile could easily wipe out an entire base.
We likely would lose every plane we sent.
Anyone who thinks we have this capability, is crazy.
It would be a death trap.

So if Trump hadn't compelled Europeans to spend ... MORE ... on defense, then we would be better off. So how stupid are you, anyway? Be honest ...

Economic embargos are war crimes according to the 1906 Hague Conventions that the US ratified.
And blocking Russian oil/gas would impoverish European countries that rely on it.
Nor do we have the capability, since we are too far away.
