Report: Dem donor paid $500G to fund women accusing Trump of sexual misconduct before Election Day

Just for the record, does anyone happen to know how many of the Trump accusers were paid tens of thousands of dollars to go public?

It seems the fireworks have started early....

Hillary Clinton backer paid $500G to fund women accusing Trump of sexual misconduct before Election Day, report says

"One of Hillary Clinton’s wealthy pals paid $500,000 in an unsuccessful effort to fund women willing to accuse President Trump of sexual misconduct before the 2016 election, The New York Times reported Sunday."
Not as bad as Republicans taking heathcare away from millions of Americans and the morally bankrupt decision to redistribute the wealth of the nation to the top 1%.

Where in the link does it say they were seeking false accusations?

Well, the obvious answer would be the involvement of Lisa Bloom.

She has a history of dishonesty?

Like what? Did she have to pay 25 million to people she victimized in a University scam?

She and her mother have a history of dishonesty, although if you actually paid attention to news and/or researched her, you'd already know these things.
If This is True, Lisa Bloom Lied to My Face About Her Representation of Harvey Weinstein

So no one can confirm that the Trump accusers were in fact PAID substantial amounts of money?

Does mean there's a second lie in the thread title?

And you would rank her 'dishonesty' where in relation to Trump's?

So your rule of thumb is that if you catch a person being dishonest once, it's fair to assume they'll always be dishonest?

As the OP points out some of them refused to come forward with the money. It's just the idea that there were people out there willing to pay others to try and destroy a presidential candidate.

Is your rule of thumb to believe a person that's been known to be dishonest?

What other people are willing to do to destroy a candidate, or a politician, or anyone for that matter has absolutely nothing to do with the actual guilt or innocence of that person.

Trump is a proven liar and a proven con artist. No, I wouldn't take his word for anything.

From the posted article:

Former Clinton nemesis turned Clinton operative David Brock also donated $200,000 to the effort through a nonprofit group he founded, the paper reported in an article entitled, “Partisans, Wielding Money, Begin Seeking to Exploit Harassment Claims.”

Bloom told the Times that the effort was unproductive. One woman requested $2 million then decided not to come forward. Nor did any other women.

Bloom said she refunded most of the cash, keeping only some funds for out-of-pocket expenses accrued while working to vet and prepare cases.

It’s obvious where you want to take the conversation. Unfortunately you have accused Trump of lying so many times on meaningless topics. Libs want to make like the world is ending over petty subjects like…crowd size, Melania’s shoes, etc., etc. In fact so many times that I really don’t feel anyone pays that much attention to what you libs have to say anymore

And you happen to be one of those that are willing to destroy a candidate, or politician so much that you make crap up...daily, if not hourly.
