Republican tax cut will not trickle down

LMAO do you know what a mutual fund is?:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

A mutual fund isn't just stock, it's a combination of a lot of things. I think you think retirement savings are all in the stock market, and you think that because you have a very juvenile and Russian view of the world.

So what. Inflation happens anyway.

Why does the right wing only complain about inflation when the poor may benefit.

Because, for the 4th or 5th time, the increased wages increases the cost of production of EVERY SINGLE THING one would want to buy. Then the poor are right back where they started.

Why is the left wing so ignorant abut the economy?
The cost of every thing increases no mater what we give big business. business is in the business of making money for that business. not making America great again.

It's still calculated in the price of doing business, but hey, feel free to pretend it's not..

No, it's not. Because profit margins (where pricing would be affected) aren't known until the end of the fiscal year for most businesses and already take the income tax into account. Maybe payroll taxes are figured into it, but not income taxes.

Are you really so stupid that you don't know accountants project tax liabilities years out.

.

The wage increase will cause more products to be made offshore?
Good point.

So you're arguing that to be competitive, American workers must accept a lower standard of living. One that is competitive with Third World countries. So why are you going around accusing Democrats of wanting to turn America into a Third World country when your argument against wage increases is to do precisely that?

So you're arguing that to be competitive, American workers must accept a lower standard of living.

No. I'm arguing that if you mandate a large wage hike for low skilled-low productivity workers, more of their work will be offshored.

No. I'm arguing that if you mandate a large wage hike for low skilled-low productivity workers, more of their work will be offshored.

According to your "conventional wisdom", which we know is bullshit.

A large wage hike!? American workers are already not competitive with Third World workers. Those jobs have already been outsourced, and they were outsourced because according to you, the wage of the worker was too high. So then the argument you're making is that in order for Americans to keep the jobs from going to Chinese workers, they have to accept the same competitive wages of Chinese workers. Not the wages they have now, but lower ones because jobs have already been outsourced with the current prevailing wage. Which means a reduction in the standard of living and lower wages.

SO you can talk around it like the piece of shit you are all you'd like; THAT IS YOUR POSITION.

We should tax every corporation out of business.....that wouldn't cause prices to rise......

In a country with nearly 150 million workers, why should we give much, if any, weight to a guy with only 750 employees?

Funny how you don't take what he says seriously, yet you'll take the word of pretend, anonymous "small business owners" on this message board.

You do that because you're a piece of shit troll.

A large wage hike!?

Raising the minimum wage to $15 isn't a large hike? Show your math.

American workers are already not competitive with Third World workers.

American workers are VERY productive. Despite liberal attacks on business.

they were outsourced because the wage of the worker was too high,

Outsourcing occurs for many reasons, only one of which is wages.

We should tax every corporation out of business.....that wouldn't cause prices to rise......

Well, since they only pay taxes on income, it's hard to see how an income tax will result in a company going out of business. You only pay income tax on profit. A company that makes a profit isn't going out of business, is it? In order for your shit argument to make sense, the tax rate would have to be greater than 100% and no one's proposed that.

So you argue as a sophist, by design, because you're a piece of shit.

Millions of small business owners in the US, liberals parade out this one chucklehead to show corporations will pocket any reduction in taxes. DURR.

If we raise the corporate rate to 90% would we see any reduction in the number of corporations?
Think before you answer. For a change.

A company that makes a profit isn't going out of business, is it?

Make the tax 95%. 98%.

No change in behavior, right?

Still profitable.

Raising the minimum wage to $15 isn't a large hike? Show your math..

Jobs are already outsourced at the current prevailing wage (and have been for decades). So according to your shit argument, we're already at the point where we need to reduce wages and the standard of living in order for American workers to be competitive with Third World workers, simply because jobs have already been outsourced. That's your argument, whether you realize it or not.

American workers are VERY productive. Despite liberal attacks on business.

Productivity isn't what we're talking about. We're talking about wage competition. That's where the competition between American and Third World workers is...wages. American workers are not competitive with Chinese workers because Chinese workers are willing to work for much lower wages.

So by virtue of the fact that outsourcing already happens, and has happened, when you say that American workers have to be more competitive, what you're saying is that American workers must accept a lower standard of living and a lower wage. That's how they can compete with Third World workers.

I think you recognize and know this point already, but are just arguing for the sake of your trollish habits.

Outsourcing occurs for many reasons, only one of which is wages.

That's not what you were arguing earlier in this very thread! You were previously arguing that a "wage hike" will result in outsourcing of jobs. I call bullshit on that because outsourcing of jobs has already been happening at wages lower than what we have now. So your argument is a complete and total load of horseshit.

Millions of small business owners in the US, liberals parade out this one chucklehead to show corporations will pocket any reduction in taxes. DURR.

You believe anonymous people who say, without evidence, they're "small business owners", yet you refuse to accept what a business owner who isn't hiding behind the anonymity of the internet is actually telling you.

That's simply because you're a troll.

If we raise the corporate rate to 90% would we see any reduction in the number of corporations?

Again, a company is still making a profit if it pays an income tax, regardless of the rate (so long as it's below 100%). Why would a company go away if they're still making a profit? When has that ever happened in the history of business? You don't do much thinking, instead you just parrot what others tell you because you're too fucking lazy to think for yourself. There is no way an income tax will result in a company going out of business so long as that rate is below 100%. That's math, pal.

Make the tax 95%. 98%.No change in behavior, right?Still profitable.

Exactly, still profitable. Why? Because they're paying taxes on income, not revenues.

And no one has proposed a corporate income tax rate that high, like, ever. So I want to know why you have to go to a hyperbolic extreme? What's the reasoning behind that? Does your shit argument not pack as much a punch if you say the rate goes from 35% to 40%?

Yup.

Nope.

Productivity isn't what we're talking about.

I know you're clueless, but do you really think productivity doesn't matter when you're discussing wages?
Hilarious!

You were previously arguing that a "wage hike" will result in outsourcing of jobs.

Liar.
I said, " if you mandate a large wage hike for low skilled-low productivity workers, more of their work will be offshored"
