Republicans shut 'er down, boys!

Oh goody..

Moron, the healthcare bill was being debated in committee for a month. Plenty of time for even the dumbest of Republicans to read it.

Moron, the final version of the bill - over 2,000 pages - was given to the representatives the night before the final vote.

Not the day before. The night before. Harry Ried, Nancy Pelosi, and Barack Obama did not want anyone to have time to expose just how dirty this bill was. They knew the GOP couldn't do anything to stop it since they had had the full majority across the board. But they also knew there would be massive public backlash once the people learned that this was about marxism and not healthcare. Enter the 2010 mid-term election ass-kicking Obama took...

Rightard ... it was debated in committee for a month. You're talking about when the bill was out of committee. In committee, Republican members had a month. And during that month, they submitted some 700 amendments.

How is that possible if they hadn't read it???

A better question is ... when does your brain start to function?

Because the 2,000 pages they were handed the night before the vote was the final altered version and NOT what was "debated in committee the previous month" :eusa_doh:

You know I'm right too - which is why you're focused on debates (which is not the law) and avoiding talking about the final 2,000 pages bill (which became the law). The bill was altered over and over until it was handed out the night before the vote. Nobody read it. Nobody. Not one single person. And the poster child for your party - Anthony Weiner (you know, the angry, ignorant, ideological, adulterer...the poster child of Democrats) - admitted it! :)

By the way - lets not overlook the fact that Obama violated the Constitution (what are we up to now - three dozen times he has done that) when Obama altered Obamacare. The president cannot alter a bill or law - ONLY Congress can do that as they are the legislative branch.

The marxist asshole who thinks he's a dictator should be impeached for that very serious offense.

Holy shit! :eusa_doh:

You never fail to entertain, Rightard. If Obama violated the Constitution, he'd be facing articles of impeachment right now, not a government shutdown.

You were saying there Sparky....? :eusa_whistle:

Obama: I Had To Violate The Constitution - Downtrend.com

It is truly amazing how ignorant you Dumbocrats are of current and events and the Constitution (not to mention politics in general).

Wow, you really are the dumbest poster here. That's the opinion of the author of that article. Obama never rendered such a confession, tacitly or not. :eusa_doh:

And I was saying, had Obama violated the Constitution, the GOP-led House would have impeached him. I can't help you are too brain-dead to understand that.

So is it your position that Obama did not make that statement to Ed Henry in the White House press room? Oh please say that's the case Swallow! Please? Be clear here. It makes your humiliation more fun when you're clear and not being a coward trying to hide behind vagueness in your hopes that you can later run from your own ignorance. Yes or No? Did Obama make that statement?

No - they wouldn't. They don't have the Senate to achieve it. Furthermore, they are too worried about the political landscape to do the right thing.

Obama admitted that was a violation of the Constitution. I can't help that you refuse to read the article because you're afraid being enlightened might destroy your ideology (not to mention your fantasies about Obama )

You're mistaken...

The GOP says Obama's decision to postpone implementing the "employer mandate" stomps all over the Constitution. It doesn't, and here's why

Sweetie - Obama himself already admitted it. An opinion piece by his propaganda department desperate to protect him does not change the facts.

The executive branch is not authorized to bypass the legislative branch. And the legislative branch is the only one who can alter laws.

Funny you didn't provide this evidence you claim exists. Be sure to READ it this time, sweetie.

You remain indubitability retarded, Dildo. The House has no such constitutional authority as one party holding the other hostage is actually tyrannical, not democratic. Perhaps you could quote the Constitution where it says the House has such authority? Though I seriously doubt it.

And who knows how you blame Democrats for $17t in debt when Republicans contributed to about half of that.

I simply can't believe this has to be explained over and over and over to Dumbocrats....

Congress controls the purse strings. They do not have to raise the debt ceiling. Furthermore, they should not raise the debt ceiling.

Your fascination with dildos aside Faun - I have a serious question. At what point have we spent enough money in your mind? We're $17 trillion in debt. When is it enough for you? When we're $20 trillion in debt? $25 trillion? $100 trillion? Is it your goal to collapse the U.S. under the Cloward & Piven strategy?

Hey, anybody else notice this rightard just tried to give the House an authority granted to the whole Congress?

Dildo, the House is only a part of the Congress -- it is not the Congress. :eusa_doh: Don't you know anything???

And your query about how much debt is too much ignores what I said. You're sooo fucking stupid, you're blaming Democrats for all of it when Republicans are responsible for about half of it. :eusa_doh:

That "investment" stems from their Constitutional role as initiating such bills -- that doesn't grant the House the "power of the purse." That would be the Congress. You even admitted so yourself when you tried to substitute the word, "House," with, "Congress."

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

I wouldn't know, dildo, since I'm not gay. You, offering that mangina of yours you affectionately think of as a cock, to men, certainly qualifies you though as a flaming homosexual.

Obama: I Had To Violate The Constitution - Downtrend.com

So you (and the author) lied. No where in either quote is the Constitution mentioned.

Naw.

Fascism isn't socialism unless you are holding that all forms of government have socialist elements. And in that case you would be correct. And that would include our government from it's very beginning. Which would be somewhat true. Both the military and the mail are early forms of socialism in this country.

Nazis, by the way..killed Socialists.

Yaw. Fascism is referred to as socialism light and is one step removed from socialism. It's when industry is technically in private hands, but every major decision must be approved by government. They are both central, government planning. The distinction is little.

Socialists often go to fascism when they can't get full socialism. Obama is a socialist, but he's settling for fascism as the closest he can get. Obamacare is pure fascism, centrally planned healthcare which is only technically in private hands. Banking, energy and other industries headed that way under Obama as well.

How are you coming with your reading assignment? There'll be a pop quiz next Friday. You need to read and understand what the bill (and the amendments) mean.

The House passed several bills. The Senate rejected all of them. Looks like the Democrats own this shut down.

Well no.

The Bills were partially shutting down the government.

Democrats want to keep it open.

Come on man..man up.

This is Grover Norquist stuff in action.

This baby's going to the bathtub!

The Democrats and Obama have been salivating over this, remembering how the public blamed the GOP back in 95. This isn't '95 though and the Dems will find themselves getting reamed.

Yeah...sure.

Obama: I Had To Violate The Constitution - Downtrend.com

There was no such confession, you imbecile. Obama answered a question about extending a deadline of the law. The author of the article offered his opinion of what Obama meant...

"In other words, President Obama consulted with business leaders before he decided to violate the Constitution. He violated the Constitution, of course, by changing the law on his own."

In other words, you are an idiot.

Did you think I was taking an assignment from you??

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And again, the bill was in committee for a month. It then spent more than 2 months in the Senate. It then went another 3 months before being reconciled. I can't help if that wasn't enough time for Congressional Republicans to read the bill.

Complete bullshit. Perhaps you can explain how Republicans entered hundreds of amendments while act was in conference; and had 161 amendments accepted into the bill -- if they never had the opportunity to read the bill until it was signed??

By the way - lets not overlook the fact that Obama violated the Constitution (what are we up to now - three dozen times he has done that) when Obama altered Obamacare. The president cannot alter a bill or law - ONLY Congress can do that as they are the legislative branch.

Sounds like so much BS to me.
Anyway, consider now what may be the real reason the businesses were given this year extension.

They have an extra year to provide healthcare to their employees. But the employees must have healthcare on 1 January 2014. So what happens? they sign up at the exchanges, boom they have health care and the companies never have to provide it.
Step 2 of the master plan for single payer Government run health care for all.........

Actually, the Heritage Foundation's plan predates the opposition to HillaryCare. It started in the 80's but was adopted by Congressional Republican's in the 90's to counter HillaryCare.

As far as supporting Obama for not giving up his landmark legislation, I subscribe to the tenet that one does not negotiate with hostage takers.

They are not "hostage takers" you drama queen (or should I say drag queen?). In any case, the House is exercising their Constitutional authority. Everything here is legal and proper.

The problem is, liberals don't like Democracy (as illustrated by Obama acting like a dictator over and over). They hate the fact that they don't get their way 5% of the time and can't fast-track this nation to their communist utopia.

The government ran up $17 trillion in debt thanks to a dumbocrats. We the people said "enough" and shut it down. Get over it already...
