Uh, no it didn't. We did get growth in raw dollars because the hyper-inflation devalued the dollar so much in the late 70's to 80%. But tax revenues as a percentage of GDP shrank. Which is why we went from 900 Billion in National Debt to 4 TRILLION when Bush-41 was run out on a rail.
