Toddster 12992993At the 30 second mark he says he would have preferred a gradual adjustment.
Because, you see, he's not upset with high gas prices.
Faced with the reality that gas prices at the pump were rising shockingly fast, of course Obama would, as would everybody not associated or invested in the oil industry prefer a gradual adjustment. What on earth makes you think Obama was not upset with high gas prices?
Are you of some belief that the price of gas is always going to go down regardless of increased demand or decreased supply.
The price of gasoline had already been rising sharply when Obama granted this interview. He had no immediate options or authority to stop it. So Obama made a sober response to create options and a means to take the roller coaster ride out of gas prices. We need to develop an energy policy "All of the Above"
that will level out the shocks and stabilize the gasoline prices over longer periods of time. Great for the consumer - great for business.
It's too difficult for those who hate to think in this kind of rational way.
What on earth makes you think Obama was not upset with high gas prices?
He thinks global warming is a bigger threat than Muslim extremists.
How does that square with wanting lower gas prices?
Be honest.
